Conditioner or shampoo?

I know there is shampoo and conditioner to keep color locked in to your hair but is there shampoo or conditioner that helps to remove hair dye?Conditioner or shampoo?
Not that I know of. I am sure there is a product to remove hair dye but it has to be really hard on your hair to do that process. I would go to Sally's Beauty Supply and ask them what it is you use to remove dye. I don't know if your hair will be its natural color after you do this or not. That is something you should ask them as well. I know that if you keep washing your hair that dye does fade ...I do alot of home remedies for my skin and hair and I used a avocado mask for my hair and it did lighten my color ...(which I didn't want) so you might try doing something like that to lighten it up. Or do a search for home remedies to lighten hair and see what you come up with ....

I wish you luck ~~~Conditioner or shampoo?
no...go buy colour oops
Theres a product that strips the dye from your hair, but they are very damaging. Shampoos and conditioners will fade color, but not remove it.
You can do one of two things - use a clarifying shampoo (I think Neutrogena works best) or use plain old dishsoap! Both options will dry your hair out, so make sure you have conditioner for afterward. Nothing will really remove the haircolor completly, but they will make it fade.

If you want it gone completly, go with Color Oops, it works well - but you WILL have to dye your hair after it to the color you want it, so be aware of that. The color oops also drys your hair out, so make sure you follow the directions. If you use it I recommend you go to Sally Beauty and get a color fill, it will make the color you do yourself more even.

:o)
head and shoulders - really cleans the hair

lightens hair - dark shades
Head %26amp; Shoulders (http://www.britishsupermarketworldwide.com/acatalog/Head_Shoulders_Shampoo_Conditioner.html) strips the hair dye from you hair - helps if it's too intense or you want a more subtle shade.
Anti-dandruff shampoo is notorious for stripping hair color, but it won't take it out completely; conditioners usually don't take color out at all as far as I know. You can also get chemical box sets at Walgreens that are specifically for taking color out, but honestly it might burn the c**p out of your scalp (I tried to take black out of my blonde hair with it and it hurt so much I stopped halfway through and ended up with a weird mixture of black, blonde, red, and brown - it didn't look good). My suggestion is either A) if you want to do it yourself and you're ok with going to blonde, go to Sally's Beauty Supply (or whatever beauty supply store is near you) and get BW2 powder and some 40 toner (as well as a bowl and a brush) and ask an employee about a good blonde color activator; go home, mix the powder and toner together until it looks like pancake batter, and apply; or B) if you're really desperate, just go to a salon. Sometimes it's worth the $100 - I've definitely had some of those debacles myself. It doesn't sound like you're too desperate and chances are it looks fine!
