Why do some people leave conditioner in their hair, then shampoo, then condition again??

wat's the use of conditioning twice? Why do some people leave conditioner in their hair, then shampoo, then condition again??
its done as a pre wash treatment for dry hair, for those who want they hair to be weighed down a bit more etc.Why do some people leave conditioner in their hair, then shampoo, then condition again??
to b honest...god knows..cos shampooing strips the hair as shampoo is designed to clean and open up the cuticle and conditioner is designed to smooth and close the cuticle (when the cuticle is layin flat, this is what makes hair soft and shiney).

ideally, if u want softer hair...leave conditioner on for long than usual, rinse and use a leave conditioner on towel dried hair - leave in conditioner helps add moisture and detangle the hair.
I never heard of that. I only condition after a shampoo.
it makes your hair squeaky clean.
its good for your hair, but i just usually shampoo then put the conditioner in for about 20 min or so

makes your hair a lot healthier especially if you color or bleach.

I used to know a hairdresser and she would just put in conditioner when she's home put a shower cap on and leave it on for like an hour, and just do things around the house.

i don't really have that much patience

Uh, why would they do that? I've never heard of anyone doing that. That will stress out the hair's structure.

It should be shampoo then condition, then a leave-in conditioner.

- Pepper.
its for people with curly hair it makes it less frizzy and dry looking cause curly hair usually looks dry
