shampoo cleans ur hair and conditioner helps it be in better condition ( =
Shampoo has cleaning surfactants in it (chemicals that break water down into smaller molecules) which, in turn, aids the water to lift and remove dirt and hairspray etc.
Conditioner contains emollients and various chemicals, organic or man made, that cling to your hair and fill in gaps and provide nutrients, making the hair feel smoother.
And, of course, shampoo makes bubbles and conditioner doesn,t
dunno
shampoo cleans your hair, and conditioner moisterizes your hair and detangle it. the 2-in-one does both at the same time.
The main thing is that shampoos often have something sort of harsh called ';Sodium Laureth'; (or similar names) which is a cleansing agent, and then they also have a sudsing agent. Neither of these are necessary - all you need is a GENTLE cleanse from Shampoo. And the suds are just because people like their shampoo to have suds.
The main ingredient in lots of Conditioners is called ';Dimethicone'; and it fills in gaps along strands of hair, making it smoother.
When using separate bottles of shampoo and conditioner and not 2 in 1 the difference is that you can use as much of shampoo as you want and then if your hair isn't that knotty you can put just a tiny bit of conditioner in your hair. When you use too much shampoo and conditioner it makes your hair greasy faster. So by using a little of each you can wash your hair better that using 2 in 1 because usually you can end up using to much shampoo conditioner.
With shampoo you can do a quick wash and rinse and apply a conditioner and actually leave it on for a few minutes . With the 2 in 1's you can't do that you'll always end up like you shampoo'd your hair but never conditioned it .
they have different effects. I'm not gonna tell you a scientific explanation but basically conditioner makes your hair silky and the shampoo gets out the grease and everything. xoxo
Shampoo takes the oil, and pollutants out of the hair, rinsing it clean and ready for the next task... which is, hopefully the task of applying conditioner, to strengthen and feed/nourish the hair, after leaving it in for at least 3 minutes before rinsing, and awaiting the next task, and that is styling or blowdrying. The 2X1 does what the separate ones do, only fast, and trouble free. I recommend that you leave it in while you are washing the rest of your body, then rinse all at once.Hope this helps! steve
Shampoo cleanses the hair and conditioner leaves it soft and conditioned.
