What's shampoo for? What's conditioner for?

I use both, of course, but I don't get what each of them do. I think I do... but I'm not sure.

Shampoo gets dirt out and conditioner makes it easier to brush, right?What's shampoo for? What's conditioner for?
i am sorry i am just amazed at some of the questions...

Yes shampoo cleans the hair and scalp

Conditioner moisturizesWhat's shampoo for? What's conditioner for?
correct
shampoo:

Is mildly acidic. It removes excess oils, dirt, and skin flakes from one's scalp.

Conditioner:

Makes hair more manageable. Good quality ones have something similar to silicone in them, it coats the hair. don't put in roots (Defeating the purpose of the shampoo)

So, yes, you are correct
shampoo is for cleaning, conditioner is for moisturizing.
Shampoo strips your dead hair and the conditioner rebuilds it. Wash, rinse, repeat. %26lt;(^.^)%26gt;
you're right. shampoo cleans your hair and conditioner conditions it aka makes it softer and doesn't get tangled as easy.
