What is the best drugstore shampoo and conditioner?

I have thick, wavy hair that is damaged but not frizzy. Please give me specific names, not just ';Dove'; or ';Herbal Essences';. I like fruity smells the most. I would like to make my wavy hair just naturally pretty and defined because I always have to wear my hair in a ponytail or a bun and that gets pretty annoying. I would also like a shampoo that cures my split ends and my breakage, due to straightening with an iron. Thanks, guys! Best answer wins 10 points!What is the best drugstore shampoo and conditioner?

As for split ends, the only way to cure them, is to cut them!

first of all, nothing and i mean NOTHING will repair those splits but a good trim. second, everyone's hair seems to react to hair product ingredients differently. for me, i cant use anything with panthenol. for some reason it makes me hair dry and coarse feeling and sticky, although for some its great. i have hair like your and i finally found a hair routine that works for me. first off, i ONLY use shampoo. conditioner makes my hair feel like crap. so anyways, i use dove shine therapy. its the BEST shampoo i have ever used, and i have used alot of pricey brands. so i wash my hair every other day , on the weekends i dont wash it at all. i towel dry my hair and put a tiny bit of biosilk and voila. i have really nice soft, shiny hair. the biggest difference i have found is not washing daily and not using and conditioner. good luck!
Tresemme Anti Breakage is amazing it's like the salon product but at a drug store. It's also really cheap. Smells amazing too!

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship cures split ends and SMELLS AMAZING! It smells like red raspberry's. It's pretty gentle on your hair too.

Garnier Fructis Length and Strength smells really good too! It helps split ends as well and the smell is really strong.

Out of all of those my favorite would have to be Herbal Essences. I just think it's one of those everday shampoos that you will love!

definitely loreal vive for dry hair (yellow one). i tried sunsilk and loved it, but then it didn't keep doing what it was doing after awhile, same with garnier, and herbal essences and even tresemme. loreal vive is awesome and makes your hair silky smooth and smells wonderful!!!

If you like fruity smells then I suggest Garnier Fructis. I have one of their deep conditioners and it smells AMAZING. just go to the drugstore and pick the one that matches your hair type
Garnier Fructis is GREAT! I have medium thickness, wavy hair and this stuff not only smells great, it's done wonders for my hair - shiny, strong, and soft. And best of all its cheap! :) Good luck!
