Does anyone know the best shampoo and conditioner to use for damaged hair ?

I've been using lots of shampoos and conditioners for awhile now and I just couldn't find one the fits my needs . My hair is really damaged by styling tools %26amp; appliances and is filled with split ends , hair thinning , hair loss , and unwanted hairs sticking up from my roots. And I want my hair healthy unlike what I'm dealing with right now. What should I do ? , yet I'm still on a budget , but would love good quality and wouldn't make my hair flat because I love to have natural volume on my short layers of my hair. I wouldn't mind if any of you recommend salon quality products . Just please answer my question !Does anyone know the best shampoo and conditioner to use for damaged hair ?
Hm. Well first I think we should figure out why your hair is so damaged in the first place. If your hair is damaged from heat (and not color) then you need something to repair it and something to prevent it too. Or else the problem will keep coming back.

To repair - you need something with protein in it - and you need something that will close your cuticle. I know it is expensive but I use Aveda Damage Remedy. But Gene Jarez is some awesome stuff too. Keratase is also one I really like - I would look for any of those on ebay and try to get a better price. Do not use these for more than a month!! You only need to use them once or twice a week for a month. After that, if you hair still feels dry - then you need to get something just for moisture (dry remedy from aveda would be one) - if you use protein for too long it will start to have the opposite effect and break your hair.

Also, if you have split ends you need to get them cut off. Have to, nothing else will fix them and they will keep getting bigger and bigger as they split up every hair shaft.

Prevent - try and use a lower setting on the flat iron. I will not tell you to stop using it - because like myself you are probably a little addicted. But use something to protect your hair from the heat!!! This is a must - every single time you use a heat tool. Something silicone based is what you should be looking for. Keracare is a good product for this.

hope that helps. good luck!

(also, if your hair seems to be thinning, make sure your products do NOT contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Laureth SulfateDoes anyone know the best shampoo and conditioner to use for damaged hair ?
The best product I've ever used on my curly dry hair was Burt's Bees Moisturizing Rasberry Shampoo and Conditioner. They try to go all natural. When I used it I barely had to do anything to my hair afterwards and my hair didn't dry out so fast. They each cost eight dollars.

Whether you use these or something cheaper, use less shampoo and more conditioner. Also try using a leave-in conditioner.
go to gene juarez! they'll totally get you hair back in shape and tell you how to keep it up in the long run... but they are a little pricey
