if like me youre on a budget that doesnt stretch to GHDs then Remmington make really great straighteners from around 拢20(upwards).the last 2pairs i bought were from them and work brilliantly...as for products i love the Vo5 products that come in red packaging(all cost 拢3-4 in superdrug)..even the ones that arent specifically straightening products have heat protection in them..i use the 'whipped mousse' before drying my hair which keeps it smooth and straight..and if im going to straighten it then the 'tame and shine taming spray' protects and makes your hair really shiney and smooth...my hair can be dry frizzy and wavy and these work best for me from everything ive tried.xx
Hi, however good your products are ultimately its the straighteners that are going to keep your hair straight so id recommend Ebay for some GHD straighteners- they really are pretty much the best out there. You could pick a pair up for 拢75-80 if not less.
Here are some products i use to help keep my normally dry hair in great condition..
I use a 3 minute miracle intensive conditioner from Aussie (approx 拢3.99 but check out both Boots and Superdrug for offers as often is on BOGOF 3 for 2 etc) as part of my washing routine. Then use a leave in conditioner Redken Anti Snap is brilliant (try Jason Shakey online - you can google it to find the link)
For the straightening products you cant beat Redken Align Utlra Straightening Heat Protect Balm,i found an auction on Ebay if you ever use it:

This really works - my hairdresser used it on my hair and it not only aids straightening but it doubles up as a heat protector. Also available at Jason Shankey online or here:

High Street Stores:
Also a lovely product is Lee Stafford Glistening Straightening Balm - smells gorgeous - available at Boots or Superdrug for about 拢4/拢5
or..
Sunsilk Easy Straightening Cream 拢2-拢3 is great too
I found a review here for you:

-from a friend
GHDs they r th best straighteners out there, however a bit expensive, they cost aroound 100 pounds, but also another pair of good straighteners are remingtons. i bought mine from superdrug for 45 pounds and yu can change the tempereature to suit yur hair. oh yeh btw GHDs are availabole in all good hairdressers such as RUSH.oh yeh and dont use any hair products with them!
i dont know if the UK sells this type of straightener... but its called ';CHI'; and it is the best straightener out there, atleast i think soo, the only negative thing about it is its high price. and a hair product line, called ';nexxus';, works wonders on out of control hair, my friend has crazy curly hair, and these products help so much for her.
SLEEKTRESS
sumptuous smoothing shampoo
HYDRA SLEEK
silken smoothing conditioner
SLEEKSTYLE
calming smoothing creme
hope this helped and i hope they sell these products there... good luck.. and also if they dont sell them there, try online at ebay, i dont know if your familiar with that, but they can usually ship things out of country. they sell all kinds of hair products
