did you like it and why or why not? and is the all soft conditioner heavy or light? thanks so much :)Has anyone tried Redken Clear Moisture Shampoo or the Redken All Soft Conditioner? [10 points]?
I am note sure why, but I got a bunch of All Soft stuff when I went to beauty school, speakers brought us stuff every so often. I never used it but I gave it to my mom (a very picky shampoo and conditioner buyer) and she loved it. I even noticed that it made her hair very shiney, sofe, and it got rid of the frizz!

What Shampoo and or conditioner should i use?
Okay my hair is wavyish but kinda straight, brown and can get greasy quickly (oh and it gets a bit frizzy ontop like if i put it in a pony tail it will get little frizzy bits on top in the day its SOOOOOO annoyin!)
so i was wondering what kind of shampoo would work for me which isn't realllyyyy expensive (so cheap) and maybe keeps the frizzyness down but doesn't harm your hairs naturalness i don't usually straighten but if i have the time every so often i do mess with it..... thankssWhat Shampoo and or conditioner should i use?
Your hair sounds exactly like mine!
I use herbal essences.
Or one that made my hair super smooth and non frizzy was L'oreal elvive 'smooth shine' (or something like that) Its in pink bottles. It smells gorgeous and does wonders for your hair :)What Shampoo and or conditioner should i use?
Tresame. . . It is the closest to salon quality you can get without purchasing a salon product.
Just get the type for your hair type.
It's not very expensive and is sold almost anywhere with hair care products, and it protects your hair when you do straighten it (protects from the heat) so should work with the frizz. . .
Hi
You should use SunSilk. Its cheap but its makes your hair soooo lovely and soft and really conditions its well too.
As for the frizzy bits you get when your hair is in a pony tail it should sort that out quite a bit but if your hair is prone to it just sweep a little hair moose over your head after you have put it in the pony tail and it will keep it looking slick for the day.

Aussie do a really good shampoo %26amp; conditioner for long hair. It's called Luscious Long. I have shoulder length hair but used some of this coz my sister has it, and it made my hair so unbelievably silky and straight!
I really like Loreal Professional shampoos and conditioners which are only available in salons. But if this is out of your budget then I recommend Aussie. If you live in the UK then go to Boots - they're doing 2 for 拢6 at the moment. xx
Tresemme is the best I would say, you just need to find the one matching your hair type and it's not expensive and it's salon quality.
But then if you use Tresemme and you still get frizzyness, there is a serum- I can't remember what it is called but I think tresemme only does one and it's brilliant !! :)
I had the same problem!! I started using Body Shop Honey Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner. They are reasonable priced as well. They will moisturise your hair without making it too heavy or too greasy. Also after finishing doing your hair spray it with Pantene Ice Shine Spray. Will do miracles.
joh frieda. also remember.. shampoo is for the scalp and conditioner is for the end. remember this when washing.

Best shampoo, leave in conditioner & conditioning treatment for chemically straightened hair?
Hi, I have straightened hair chemically last year. It was fine for some time. Now its gone fizzy and untamed again. When i wash my hair, my hair on scalp stands up (small hairs) which really irritates me. I keep combing it but they rebel. Its atleast ok if its frizzy at the bottom but if its frizzy and rebellious on the scalp it upsets me. Please can someone suggest me best shampoo, hair intensive conditioning treatments and leave-in conditioner for chemically straightened hair? I live in UK so looking for products to buy online in UK. Thank you very much in advance for ur expert/experienced answers. Regards,PraveenaBest shampoo, leave in conditioner %26amp; conditioning treatment for chemically straightened hair?
I feel that Himalaya products are best coz they are pure herbal without any sideeffects. They are not tested on animals, they are the best quality products.
Just google himalaya herbals
Some may think that Herbal shampoos are just ordinary ,but have you tried himalaya herbal shampoo?
Don't just judge the book by seeing its cover,i feel that in India[or in the world] Himalaya products are best!!Best shampoo, leave in conditioner %26amp; conditioning treatment for chemically straightened hair?
I would recommend enjoy hair care products. You can get enjoy hair care products at beauty schools and some beauty supply stores and i am sure you can get them off line somewhere. they are a bit expensive, but worth it and they last a while.
Enjoy hair mask, and reconstructive spray are awesome. they come in light purple bottles. Enjoys leave in conditioner is awesome, you don't need to use very much, that also comes in a light purple bottle.
shampoo wise is where my recommendation gets a bit dicey because it is great quality shampoo and easy on your hair because it doesnt have any acids in it. on the down side, because it doesn't have any acids in it, it did start to give me dandruff because it didnt have anything to get rid of the dead skin on your scalp.
so i use all of the first products and just herbal essence shampoo.
aside from the shampoos i swear by all the other enjoy hair care products and they are used by a lot of hair stylists.
one more plus, they aren't tested on animals, if that matters to you.
I have gotten my hair chemically straightened before, and my hair is naturally curly. Also, having been to the uk multiple times i know that the weather isn't ideal for hair like ours, but those conditioners really helped me out a lot.

What shampoo and/or conditioner for a persian would you recommend?
Is there a preferred brand? Do you think I could find something decent at Wal-Mart or should I order a product online? What shampoo and/or conditioner for a persian would you recommend?
Hi,
You are actually asking a good question because a lot of people go to walmart and just pick any shampoo out of the bunch without researching first. If you have a specific breed, knowing that Persians are very special, you should first ask and research before buying a product that may or may not do a thing for your kitty.
Breeders choice are Silky Mango Shampoo and Medicated Oatmeal Shampoo. They rely on these two types because they know the difference in the coat is huge after the first bath. Besides, you're not only managing and caring for the coat but for the skin as well. Knowing Persians tend to get feline acne, you should buy your kitty a shampoo that will bring extra benefits.
If your cat is all white I would recommend you use Bio-Groom Super White shampoo. What shampoo and/or conditioner for a persian would you recommend?
Knowing many cat show people each have their own preferences. Some use human shampoos and conditioners. I've had experience with a cat that was allergic to a human shampoo. The most popular ones that show people use are EQYSS, House of An-Ju, #1 All Systems, Ring 5, Bio Groom. All can be purchased online. All are very good it's a matter of preferences as I mentioned.
I would recommend Herbal Essences, but I am not sure if they sell that in Iran. (they are Persians)
All pet shampoos and conditioners are the same with some exceptions (oatmeal for dry skin, flea shampoo and tearless shampoo). I use the dollar store brands. Go to walmart, and get the tearless baby shampoo, cats don't usually want to be bathed. Otherwise, you'll be blowing your money on marked up products.
at wal-mart, you will typically only find a limited selection of discount brands. obviously, you will need shampoo specifically for pets so you would have better luck at a pet supply store. it is up to you if you want to splurge on some frilly junk or just stick with a basic flea/tick reducing shampoo. do not wash your dog too often. it will remove essential oils from her skin and could lead to scratching and dandruff. you should also get a toothbrush and toothpaste for dogs to brush once a month along with a brush and pet nail clippers/file (human ones can cause the quick to be cut, which is painful).

Best shampoo and/or conditioner for dry hair?
My hair is thick, dry and frizzy. I have trouble keeping it soft. I've tried many budget shampoos that tend to really dry my hair out. The budget conditioners either do nothing or make my hair feel greasy and weighed down. I'm willing to pay up to 20 bucks if it truly works.
Are there any you can suggest that will help make hair soft and shiny but not greasy?
Thanks in advance! :)Best shampoo and/or conditioner for dry hair?
redkin all soft about 12 dollarsBest shampoo and/or conditioner for dry hair?
Aveda Dry Remedy.
Hands down best shampoo i've ever used.
http://www.aveda.com/templates/products2/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY10515%26amp;PRODUCT_ID=PROD13654
have you tried Aussie? it's cheap and works really well for my hair. Try the Moist Shampoo and Conditioner, and try the Moisture Treatment conditioner if your hair is reaaalllyyy dry. It really worked for me.
Um.. there's this shampoo by pantene called Beautiful Lengths. It really doesn't make your hair long, just stronger. It does so much for your hair! It looks so damn healthy and smooth- use it trust me
bumble %26amp; bumble...it works for me
Aussie Deeep 3 minute miracle deep conditioner is by far the best deep conditioner ever!!! It works like a mask that you can use in or out of the shower. You just use it for three minutes and comb it through, rinse with warm water, and then some cool water.
Its great!!! You can use it 1-3 times a week, its CHEAP (about $3 at wal-mart), leaves your hair, color, and texture looking and feeling radiant.
Just make sure you rinse it all out. I haven't had to cut my hair in 6 months since I've used it.
The shampoo and conditioners work really good too. They're from the moisture line.

Herbal Esscences Totally Twisted. It smells reeeeeeeeeeally yummy and has lots of de-frizzer stuff in it. My friend who has frizzy hair LOVES it. also you should use a leave-in anti frizz conditioner or spray. Avon or something should work.
go for sunsilk frizz. orrrrr for more professtional help get matrix. the orange kind.
pantene pro V. They make it special for different hair textures. The conditioner is good with taming frizzy hair too. my neice has the same problem. And its not that expensive either.
I have it too... your best bet is getting a shampoo %26amp; conditioner combo plus another conditior to use after you have rinsed out your shampoo. Just put it on the part of your hair that hangs from your head, otherwise it will build up on your scalp and cause dandruff. I like Treseme, and Biolage.
Grainer Fruiteis- Not sure exactly how it's spelled but if you like it after buying it at a chain, see if you know somebody that has a Sam's or Costco Membership because I get mine there for $7 for a HUGE bottle.
The best out there is paul mitchells super skinny products they have shampoo + conditioner and serum. it is the best products you can buy for your hair i promise buy it and you wont regret it. try and then message3 me and tell me how much you liked it
You have typical dry hair. Try and NOT wash the heck out of it so often. You're just making matters worse. It's also a good idea to switch shampoo and cond. from time to time as well. Use a good moisturizing rinse and perhaps a good gel as well. You have to learn to manage what nature gave you, not all hair is equal and def. not like the models u see on TV.
I would recommend buying some silk hair therapy. It helps with the frizzyness, but don't use to much or it will make your hair look oily. If used correctly, it will make your hair smooth and soft!
Your hair is frizzy because it is naturally dry. Any shampoo and condtioner with high moisturizing properties will help you tame your hair down.
Dove..
Aussie - aussie 3 minute miracle shampoo, aussie mega conditioner. This is the Best I have really bad hair too. I know it feels in school.
I normally buy professional hair products. I was in a 911 situation and bought some Herbal Essences for straight hair. I love it! (pink bottle--Wal-Mart)
Pantene or Suave...maybe Vo5.
If you don't want to buy shampoo... then there is this brand that uses a certain butter. It helps ALOT
Pantene. They are the absolute BEST when it comes to smoothening out hair. I have the same type of hairas you and this fixed it, made it silky smooth. The only problem with Pantene is that it seemed to make me shed A LOT of hair. I've had a few friends say the same thing too. I now use Herbal Essence. It works but it's not AS smooth.
Frizz-Ease.
Also brush it while it is drying. If you can don't use blow drier. And wash your hair every other day.
I also have frizzy hair. I use Frizz-ease. Sometimes I don't need too.
I skip Part 3. Not worth it unless you are going out.
Tresemme, Pantene are really good. Also use something like frizz ease or Citre Shine in your hair after you wash it. Either rub it in before you blow dry or after. If you use a flat iron you should do that before you use it. It really works.
my hair doesn't frizz, but it does tend to poof out. i have recently started using sunsilk anti-poof shampoo. it's great. i don't even need to use any styling products, except for a bit of hairspray, which is a totally new experience for me. i used to have to put a serum in it, then use some styling wax after that, but not anymore. i can't wait to see what happens when i try the conditioner.
I use Redken which seems to help my frizz.
Also be sure not to over-wash it. Daily shampooing can dry it out worse.

Daily shampooing can dry it out worse.
i have FRIZZY hair
I need a good shampoo+condidtioner
my friend who has the best hair in class uses treseme moisterizer and treseme shampoo..
soo...

redken.I have frizzy hair...and im gonna go out to buy a diff. shampoo for it plus conditioner..any recommendations?

Is washing your head only twice a week with conditioners, shampoo and leave in treatment beneficial?
i have a friend who doesn't shampoo her hair at all; she just rinses it and uses conditioner. shampoo will strip the natural oils from your hair, causing your scalp to react by producing extra oil. this is why most people's hair gets so greasy after only a day or two of not shampooing. but if you go without it, your scalp will adjust and stop producing excess oils. so less is more with shampoo. Is washing your head only twice a week with conditioners, shampoo and leave in treatment beneficial?
absolutely. when washing hair, less is more... the ideal is to wash your hair with conditioner only. A stylist told me that. Your hair may look like crap for a few days, but have faith.. it will adjust.

How effective is washing hair daily with conditioner and apple cider vinegar rinse instead of shampoo?
I've never heard of such a thing. I hear a lot from older people that what you can eat can be used in your hair as a rinse out conditioner. Such as eggs and mayo. I personally, however, think that there are certain things made especially for the hair, but if you think it's gone make your hair healthier, go for it!!!!!

My hair gets super greasy and I've tried tons of shampoos (I don't conditioner), any shampoo suggestions?
Okay so, I have fine hair, but not too too thin, and I've tried shampoos for normalizing, greasy hair, and volumizing. All of them leave me with greasy hair at the end of they day. I was told to use shampoos that were clear because the milky texture to other shampoos is weighing my hair down.
I'm looking for something that is going to keep my hair from becoming so greasy so fast and something that will make my hair have body.My hair gets super greasy and I've tried tons of shampoos (I don't conditioner), any shampoo suggestions?
I have the same problem. My hair is fine but dense and my bangs tend to chunk up and get greasy.
For me, I use Volume Restore by Alterna every other shampoo.

Has anyone Tried the Burt's Bees Shampoo/Conditioners?
Has anyone here tried to Burt's Bees shampoos and conditioners? They sound real good, full of honey and oils and such, all natural products, no sulfate or anything like that. They're like 8-9 buck a bottle though, so I was wondering if it was worth it.Has anyone Tried the Burt's Bees Shampoo/Conditioners?
honestly I think their shampoo doesn't foam alot %26amp; can leave your hair dull %26amp; difficult to comb I have use alot of shampoo %26amp; this is not the best one. avalon organic lemon shampoo or naked naturals can be your best choice.Has anyone Tried the Burt's Bees Shampoo/Conditioners?
Burt Bee products are great, a little pricey but nice. The Sugarbeet Grapefruit shampoo/conditioner has good reviews and makes your hair shiny and smells nice too.
nope they are to much just for organic

Later today, I'm going at Walmart which shampooing / conditioner should I buy for my curly hair?
OK, I wanna buy a new good shampooing/conditioner. Something that I could find at Walmart... Like Sunsilk, etc, I have curly hair, by the way.Later today, I'm going at Walmart which shampooing / conditioner should I buy for my curly hair?
Sunsilk is a great product. I buy the green bottle de frizz kind. Also, you really need a good curling creme, like the Sunsilk 24/7 creme, green bottle, de frizz., a spray leave-in conditioner (doesn't matter which kind), and use a diffuser to blow it dry. Once dry, try to keep your hands out of it. I also use a spray shine product (doesn't matter which kind) for the sides and top, to keep the late in the day frizzies away!
Another good product you can get at Walmart, are the Frizz-Ease products!
Good luck! Curly hair is beautiful, you just have to learn how to style it, and you'll get compliments every day!Later today, I'm going at Walmart which shampooing / conditioner should I buy for my curly hair?
OK Caroline...1st and foremost buy something that is geared toward your hair type...if you need moisture in your hair (which curly hair does) then look for that on the bottle...I suggest something that does not have sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate in the ingredients list (it's a mild detergent that is put in shampoos to help it lather better but it also can strip hair of needed moisture)...also when looking at the ingredients list the 1st 5-7 ingredients are the most important!...if you cannot find some sort of natural shampoo or conditioner I would say to go with Garnier Fructis conditioner...w/in the 1st 5-7 ingredients you will see things like sugar cane extract or apple extract instead of things you cannot even pronounce...
Hey.

What is the best and worst shampoo and conditioners to use on your hair? and why?
Its all about ph levels. In hair, acidity is good, so you want a high ph level. Some of the worst shampoos and conditioners are suave and V05. The best are going to be found in salons like Matrix, RAHA, and Biolage. The brand name isn't what makes these products a little pricey, it the ingredients in the product itself. What is the best and worst shampoo and conditioners to use on your hair? and why?

I know what SHAMPOO is for, but what is CONDITIONER for?
conditioner helps your hair to soften and make it shin and keep it so it keeps moisture in and wont dry out in the heat , it also lessens tangles that may happen with shampoo.I know what SHAMPOO is for, but what is CONDITIONER for?
Conditioner is to moisturize your hair and to replace your natural hair oils.I know what SHAMPOO is for, but what is CONDITIONER for?
conditioner chemcially removes all remaining detergent (shampoo) from your hair and returns it to a normal ph
CONDITIONER is for taking out tangles in your hair and making it smoother
Putting the nutrient back into your hair that the daily elements and harsh conditions of pollution remove. Of course this is if you use a quality conditioner.
To make it soft and keep it from breaking
Conditioner adds oils. Moisturizes Scalp. Makes split ends stick together. Adds shine.
Shampoo cleanses and a conditioner softens and adds sheen/shine.
Try washing your hair without conditioner and you'll know what conditioner does.

My hair is falling..however, i use conditioner and branded shampoo?
Please suggest me how to stop hair fallMy hair is falling..however, i use conditioner and branded shampoo?
First, decide if your hair is falling from the roots or just breaking off. If it has a little ball at one end that means that it's coming out at the root. If it doesn't, it could be breaking off from the way you comb it. If you hear ';breaking'; noise when you comb, you're combing too rough. Try a natural bristle brush. Work from the bottom up in small sections to avoid tangles. If you have long hair, you may want to comb your hair with a wide tooth comb in the shower when you still have the conditioner on. This works great to detangle and distribute the conditioner evenly.
Are you dieting? If your hair is falling out by the roots, you might not be getting enough B vitamins and other nutrients. Stress is another common cause. When a person is under stress the body doesn't process B vitamins as it should. When I'm under stress I shed like a dog! When that starts to happen I try to kick up to a higher level of healthy eating. It really works for me. Good luck! Hope that helps. Oh yeah, here's another idea. Ask a friend to give you a scalp massage. It will stimulate the follicles and wash the stress away at the same time! :)My hair is falling..however, i use conditioner and branded shampoo?
rub the nails of your fingers(not the thumb) against each other everyday
I know you won't believe, Conditioner is the main reason for hair fall.
using a branded hair stuff does not mean tat it is suitable for your hair.
get shampoo tat specifically for revitalise yr hair and reduce the uses of hair dryer and irons.
dont comb yr hair when it is still wet. it weakens tr hair roots. instead, try to dry yr hair with towel first. when it starts to dry a bit, then u can comb yr hair.
and get a hair tonic or spray or hair vitamins tat gives strength to hair and encourage hair growth. u can find the products at saloon and seek professional help.
Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Has anyone tried any of these volume shampoo/conditioners?
Aveda volume shampoo/conditioner, Graham Webb Thick Infusion shampoo or Sebastian volume shampoo/conditioner so which one out of these did you find the best!!Has anyone tried any of these volume shampoo/conditioners?
I've tried all three brands you mentioned. I like the sebastian the best because it added tons of shine as well and was gentle to my color treated hair.
The aveda I found to be a bit more conditioning, my hair felt softer than with the other two brands.
I personally like the redken fat cat ffor volume but not if you color treat- it fades color the fastest.Has anyone tried any of these volume shampoo/conditioners?
The best are sold at your local salon , they are more concentrated than the strore brands which are watered down.
But Aveda is good.
Those arent tht great, use the bed head line. i luv those but they r a bit pricey.bowel cleansing

This is for all the long haired people out there... Do you ever run out of conditioner before shampoo?
Yeah for every bottle of shampoo I buy two bottles of conditioner, it evens out in the end. This is for all the long haired people out there... Do you ever run out of conditioner before shampoo?
all the timeThis is for all the long haired people out there... Do you ever run out of conditioner before shampoo?
i do all the time. i think it's because my hairdresser said that i only really need to use shampoo on the top of my head, and conditioner on the rest. and since i have such long hair, i run out of conditioner faster! i'm not sure if that's why, but it's my guess!
When I had long hair, yes, all the time.
Always... it's annoying because I always end up having about a fourth of shampoo left to no conditioner.
Yup
My hair is past my butt and on it's way to my knees. I use 32oz of conditioner a week. I use 5-6 bottles of conditioner to one 32oz bottle of shampoo. See my pic on my 360 it was taken last Oct.
Nope...always out of shampoo before conditioner. You're only supposed to use a bit of conditioner each time you shower, not a whole handful
Almost always.
yes sometimes
yes! its annoying
Yes I do. It should come in bigger bottles.
I don't have long long hair, it's medium length but very thick.
I somtimes run out of conditioner first but normally I use the same amount of conditioner as shampoo. I hate having more of one than the other.
it actually really gets on my nerves...I've even bought my boyfriend his own shampoo and conditioner so he wont touch mine. haha.
...I don't think it has to do with the fact of long hair for me. I think it's the fact that I use it to shave aswell
yes all the time
Nope.

Wash hair using Conditioner? No Shampoo?
Everytime I shampoo my hair it comes out looking dry, fuzzy, dull with a straw-like texture...For the past 2 weeks i've been using only my conditioner and my hair looks flawless, smooth, doesn't stick up, stays straight without straighteners and is shiny and generally looks great. My question, will this have an effect on my hair? What would happen if I continued?
if this helps, i'm a guy with craig mabbits hair....thanks again
thanks guys....Wash hair using Conditioner? No Shampoo?
Shampoo is to clean grease out of your hair, if you don't need to use shampoo (or if your hair isn't getting greasy) then I don't see a problem as you are washing it with water when u shower. Maybe shampoo once a week (or even less) so you don't get a build up of oils.
I've been given the advice before to only use conditioner when I wash my hair to prevent fly away hair and because its gentler to my hair.Wash hair using Conditioner? No Shampoo?
Your doing it wrong lol
You use a quarter size amount of shampoo and scrub it into your scalp. Dont scrub it into your hair. Shampoo is meant to clean your scalp more than your hair. The suds running down will partially clean your hair without removing all the necessary oils.
For conditioner its the opposite. That is to be placed on your hair and not your scalp but dont use too much or your hair will get weighed down.
try a different brand of shampoo. I recommend Redken, its amazing and I heard the men's shampoo and conditioner are great! Just washing with conditioner shouldn't do anything bad to your hair, you just won't have clean hair and you'll have product buildup a lot more often.
I think that mabye it's the shampoo that might be causing the problem. Try switching brands and see if that works.
conditioner doesn't clean ur hair =\
use shampoo at least twice a week,
and try a different brand of shampoo, that might be the problem
Well I would say it wouldn't be very clean. :P Maybe invest in a good shampoo, and see how you like it! Hope this helps. Can anyone answer mine please?

The only thing is, im not sure conditioner WASHES hair, like plain water doesnt do exactly what soap and water to do for cleansing.
thats nice that your hair looks flawless...but..
shampoo is for the hygienic part for your hair..and if your not using shampoo then your not cleaning your hair and only simply covering it up with more moisturizers...the oils are still staying in there.
that's kinda not healthy in the long run...
Dove is great!!! %26lt;33
i just use conditioner too because it makes your feel and look better

Conditioner. If I want flatter hair, do I use more conditioner or more shampoo? or neither?
more conditioner...and you could try using product like straightening baum before you style. If I want flatter hair, do I use more conditioner or more shampoo? or neither?
try sunksilk straiten up shampoo and conditioner
no offence but flat hair is kinda boring
straight is ok i guess tho ( =
I feel ya on this one. I have thick, poofy, curly hair. What works for me to soften it down is washing it with shampoo and actually using two conditioners, and then putting some gel in it while it's still wet. If I'm going out, I straighten it.
depends on what kind of hair u have. use a leave-in conditioner and blow dry your hair completely after taking a shower. if u want, u can straighten your hair (although this damages it). i suggest herbal essences aswell.
What is your hair type?
thin ut hair out next time u get it cut.
jus ask the person who cuts your hair to thin it out.
use less shampoo. shampoo washes ur scalp and hair out and makes ur hair poofy.
conditioner weigs ur hair down and puts alot of moistur in it.
neither Try this product I love it its called (ITS A 10) spray it on after shampooing and just comb thru you will like it. I have very thick hair but it will make it smoother,.
find a shampoo or conditioner that doesnt say volumizing on the front, anti-frizz creams like redken (has this milk looking pump cream) that helps and so does a palmade (i use enjoy, a little pricy but it lasts a long time because you dont need alot.)
Conditioner
get a hair straitner
conditioner because it softin your hair and when you blow dry then it will beeasier
You don't need to use 'more' of anything. It all depends on the type of products you use, not quantity. What you are looking for is a conditioner that is specifically created to achieve the 'sleek' look. These usually contain Silicon, which coats your hair, leaving it lovely and smooth (and flat!). The Pantene range are pretty good for this sort of thing. Hope this helps. Also, this sounds like old news, but a good pair of straighteners can do wonders to flatten hair. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to have your hair straight, because the good straighteners nowadays can curl your hair, add volume, create waves-all sorts! I recommend GHD straighteners which are priced at about 拢120. They are absolutely fantastic, and I would never use anything else. Good luck!

Is it ok to use conditioner only if you are out of shampoo ????
Come on i am a guy i dont know these things ......Is it ok to use conditioner only if you are out of shampoo ????
Most conditioners have a small amount of surfactants in them (which is causes dirt to scatter), so it will have some cleansing properties. In other words, it's better than nothing if you're out of shampoo, but don't clean your hair this way on a regular basis. Is it ok to use conditioner only if you are out of shampoo ????
use a bittle bit of dish washing liquid, and then condition!
i usually run out of conditioner first hahahhaha
no because shampoo breaks down the oil in your hair that you dont want and conditioner just helps maintain it
its ok not like youre gonna die from doing it. some people actually say that you should only shampo every other day to not dry out your hair
no its not. use shampoo to wash gunk and dirt out of ur hair then only condition those lovely hair wit conditioner and rinse it off. keeps ur hair healthy and shinY!
No! Conditioner is used to soften and smoothen your hair and shampoo is to clean your scalp.
no its really not a good idea ...use hand soap it wont hurt and then u know it's clean
well using shampoo everytime dries out ur hair, using only condtioner is actually better once in a while, but im not saying don't use shampoo just for now it's okay just buy more
yeh kind of ok
no the conditioner is not wash the hair, that do the hair softly
( laughs out loud ) i don't think it will do your hair harm to use conditioner a couple of times till you buy more shampoo, you know in the days before they had shampoo they used soap, my grandad has told me that story 100 times now!
in short, your hair would be flat, greasy, and gross. At least use soap or something on your hair first...
yea, if you just ran out. i wouldnt advice never using shampoo again, but its ok not to until you go to the store and get more.
me either
conditioner will do just that, condition your hair.
You need to shampoo your hair to get rid of the dirt, grease, etc.
Shampoo also puts the alkaline levels in your hair to a level where they need to be.
If you don't have shampoo, take your lazy behind to the store and get some or pay a salon to wash your hair. If it hasn't been washed in a while, your hair won't be damaged it will just be smelly and greasy.
Go wash that nappy head!!!
It's not going to HURT you at all... but not going to really clean you either.
I mean, you can go a day without washing your hair, so you can certainly go a day with just conditioning your hair. If you just run water through it and rub it you should be able to go even longer.
You COULD also just use your body soap on it.
But just go buy some shampoo in the next few days
I did this one time, and it is definitely not a helpful thing to do. It just made my hair soft or slippery, as I recall. The shampoo definitely has to be done first.
do u knw that u can use a detergent soap as a shampoo %26amp; it actually makes ur hair softer %26amp; shinier??
believe me, i've done it in highschool when my hair started falling..
i've used it 4 2 wks %26amp; everyone noticed that my hair's gotten better
Use your body soap or a good body wash or a less expensive shampoo for the time being, there's a lot of good ones out that will cleanse and sometimes they do dry your hair and scalp. And some do have the amount of nutrients needed to give back or condition,so you have the dry itchy scalp, BUT, mostly it's not enough, SO, for healthier hair and scalp always use conditioner after that process, next time just buy a shampoo with conditioner in it so you will always have them both, and when you run out, just use body soap or wash temp. til you get more.
No, it will just make your hair greasy.
well if you have short hair then just use normal body soap and conditioner (to make it smell good and fell soft) remember a woman loves a clean man!!!
no conditioner won't clean the hair. You would be better off using the same soap you clean up with as it will clean the hair then use the conditioner to soften it but do not use all the time as it will dry out your hair if done too often. Have a blast!
Why don't you just use soap in your hair till you go buy more shampoo, then just condition after that.
Shampoo and Soap share the same active ingredient - Sodium Laurel Sulphate - so you don't need to panic about it killing your hair either.
I don't think it would hurt, you don't have the shampoo anyway.bowel cleansing

Is it a good idea to wash my hair extention?( with shampoo and leave-in conditioner for synthetic hair)?
Shampooing in cold water won't hurt. Be sure to wash them in cold water, as hot water can change the shape and texture of the hair. Shampooing them often can cause them to be less durable too so don't do it too much!Is it a good idea to wash my hair extention?( with shampoo and leave-in conditioner for synthetic hair)?
If they're good hair extensions, than yeah, go ahead. But ask someone at your local salon, since i'm not a pro

Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels?
I do! lol
Star if you have! Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels?
Yes! One time, when staying in D.C. me and my friend went and took like 30 of them out of the maids cart when she had her back turned!Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels?
Not really. Because they're never really good. But I do take the little packaged things of soap, the hairdryer, the good soft towels, and sometimes the hangers.
:D
Yes. I always take them, along with the soap, lotion, and shower gel. I also take the pens and note pads.
Nope, but i take the moisturizer ones.
HELLS yes. Those bottles rule!
-Ryko
Yes, I always do!
That includes soaps and lotions.

Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
Yes i take all the free stuff in the room!Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
absolutely! I work at a hotel so I know how little they pay for them and that yoru room stay is calculated to cover the cost of your breakfast, your toiletries, wear and tear on the pool and gym and all other ammenities and such. You are paying for them . I take them all when I stay at a hotel and request more. Im like send some more coffee packs up here, send some tissue, etc etc lol!Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
Yes, most of the time, they are for the guest anyway. That is why they are small and they only leave a few bottles in the bathroom. They know everyone does it. It is like a complimentary gift from the hotel.
I don't normally but the last hotel I stayed in just before Christmas I did because they were 75ml and Acqua Di Parma. I gave them to a friend who give them to his friend for his 40th Birthday.
yeah,
pretty much the only reason i stay at a hotel, free stuff like;
towels
shampoos conditioner
soap
lotion
ehhh...why not just take the bed while your at it.
yes, but I just use them for decoration or to wash things like curtains...except the ones I got from the Hilton...I washed my hair with those! lol
yes! I take everything, even the soap!
Lol yes, you are actually paying for them so why not haha?!
lol, sometimes :)
actually yes
I take them all on the first day, and then take them every day as they are refilled. XD
Yes. If the bottles are cute... But i always end up just throwing them away when i get home..
all the time.
Yes, They usually end up in the trash.
Yes!
Lol yes
most of the time :)
No.
You Bet.

Conditioner before shampoo??????
has anyone ever wet there hair conditionerd shampood then conditioned again? if so does it work, thanksConditioner before shampoo??????
By accident... and it left me a little greasy.... but I have ultra fine hair. Combination shampoo/conditioners do the same thing to me.
I DO, however, use two different conditioners AFTER shampooing... I have color processed hair. I use a rinse-out conditioner in the shower and then a light weight leave in conditioner after I towel dry my hair. It's naturally curly, so I help prevent frizz and fly-a-ways with Infusium or John Frieda or 911 without the heavy greasy look of double conditioning with the heavy stuff in the shower.
Peace hon... I hope this helps...Conditioner before shampoo??????
no i haven't but i don't think u should do that cuz conditioner is for moisturizing ur hair after it is washed with shampoo
I've done it to detangle a bit, but what are you trying to accomplish? Extra conditioning? If you want that just leave the conditioner on your hair longer, or wrap it in a plastic cap and apply heat. It would work out better.
The shampoo washes out the conditioner so it is a waste of conditioner. Try a heavier conditioner if you need more %26amp; leave it in longer. Ask your hair stylist for recommendations.
no never did but will try not sure if it would help in any way
only if you only do one layer of shampoo, otherwise there is no benifit, it just wastes conditioner, and i personally think that it keeps the shampoo fromm doing its best job
Theres no point, but to be honest i think the 2 in 1 shampoos, i mean the shampoos that have conditioner inside are very bad, i have tried many of them and they dont clean well.
I tried once when I was child, it is not a bad idea for very dry hair, It can help to shampoo your hair smoothly, It doesn't hurt I believe
I've never tried it.. what would be the point?
For extra dry hair you can condition your hair before its supposed to moisturize and hydration to your hair.

Which is better for keeping dyed hair vibrant: mixing some dye with your shampoo or with your conditioner?
neither! this can cause a lot of residual buildup and damage to your hair. if you need a boost for virbancy, use the color lines for blondes reds and brunettes by a variety of manufacturers. or even herbal essences natural instincts for a boost....much safer for your locks dear:DWhich is better for keeping dyed hair vibrant: mixing some dye with your shampoo or with your conditioner?

Is it better to buy the shampoo and the conditioner seperate . or buy the 2 in 1?
need helpIs it better to buy the shampoo and the conditioner seperate . or buy the 2 in 1?
Its easier to use the 2 in 1 if you don't want to take a long time in the shower.
Its better for your hair to buy them separate. Then sometimes you could not condition your hair to avoid chemical build up. Another way to avoid that would be to have more than one kind of shampoo and conditioner and rotate between them.Is it better to buy the shampoo and the conditioner seperate . or buy the 2 in 1?
I have read that the separates are better for your hair. I have actually read not to use shampoo constantly because it dries out the hair and strips its natural oils. But you can wash your hair with the conditioner alone in between shampoos. The 2 in 1 has the same effect as the shampoo and can strip your natural oils if used regularly.
I hope this was helpful.
separate for sure! when you buy the 2 in 1 there isn't enough conditioner so your hair won't be as moisturized as it needs to be
in my opinion, its better to buy the conditioner seperate. i think it works better, for me anyways
Seperate, the 2 in 1 never works.
I don't like the 2 in 1 stuff.
Separate, they are for a reason.bowel cleansing

pantene!
everyone says it's bad for your hair but it's the best thing i've ever used.
the only reason people say it's bad is because hair stylists made that up, pantene is their biggest competitor.
i use herbal essences it is awesome natural stuff really helps my scalp.my mom is a hair stylist and she uses it
it depends on your hair. I have fluffy wavy hair and I like panteen pro V, or Sleek Look. The new tony and guy (TGI/Bed head) S factor brand smells f-ing awesome!!! and the shining products are great (but pricey).
Biolage, Pantene, Nexxus, Redken, Herbal Essences, Vo5
depends on the person.
Personally I like Tresemme, or biosilk.
treseme, and even for damaged hair it makes it SOOO soft.
pantene
semen
Dove.
Best I've use so far is probably Garnier Fructis Shine Burst

What are some hair straightening shampoo's and/or conditioners that I could find in a store?
I have always seen the hair straightening shampoo's/conditioners online like Theraphy-M Super Straightener but I can't seem to find a store that sells them. I was wondering what other brands I'd find in a store like Target, Wal-Mart, you know. If not, can I find them in almost every beauty salon/store?What are some hair straightening shampoo's and/or conditioners that I could find in a store?
Sometimes available and Target and Walmart:
TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo
Sexy Hair Straight Sexy Shampoo
Almost always available and Target and Walmart:
Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Style-Starting Daily Shampoo
EDIT: Also if you just want the cheap stuff, almost all shampoos companies make straightening shampoos. (eg. sunsilk, pantene, herbal essences, garnier fructis, even sauve...but don't get that that sucks)What are some hair straightening shampoo's and/or conditioners that I could find in a store?
There's a relatively cheap kind called 'Hairpy' by the company Sunsilk. They sell stuff for all different kinds of hair...
theres a brnad called john frida...i think thats how u spell it or john freda..hmm...not sure..anyways get the 1 that say to have straight hair...and theres dif. steps.....like the conditionor shampoo and leave in conditioner.........and stuuf get all the steps 4 straight hair.....and i've tried it and it actually kinda works

What can i do for my dog to help his coat/skin? Food besides dog food and a cheaper shampoo or conditioner?
I have a 1 yr old blueheeler/ lab mix and his coat has become rough and he has been scratching a lot. I have another dog who doesn't scratch and has a healthy coat, so its not fleas or anyhting like that. i took him to the vet and she said she doesn't know, but subscribed a medicated shampoo and a spray on conditioner, plus told me to give him benadryll and fish oil/ vit e pills. it has done wonders, now im almost out and want to keep it soft. What can i feed him and is there a cheaper shampoo/ conditioner i can get him?
i appreciate your help!!What can i do for my dog to help his coat/skin? Food besides dog food and a cheaper shampoo or conditioner?
What shampoo was it? The majority of shampoos the vet sells can be bought retail %26amp; usually for much cheaper. There also might be similar shampoo that isn't needed at a lower strength. I don't suggest using conditioner any longer. It can change the dog normal ph level of their skin %26amp; coat, cause pimples %26amp; end up drying out the coat. Email me if you %26amp; I can probably give you alternative shampoo or a site to buy it from. What can i do for my dog to help his coat/skin? Old Roy for Skin and Coat is a great dog food . It is inexpensive and produces great results. Scrambled eggs are also good. You can use baby shampoo, conditioner for dry hair. You can try children's liquid benadryl for the itching. There are many ways to help with the itching.
Once a day scramble him 2-3 eggs. Most dogs love eggs and its super good for their coat. The protein is also good for them in general. I hope that helps!
Wheat germ oil for horses. You can use this on his skin or apply small amounts to food. It will take care of the dry skin and keep the coat shiney. It a show trick for the show ring!
you can put a raw egg on his dry food. to help with the itching mix cornstarch and baking soda 50/50. the cornstarch soothes the skin and the soda helps with smell in between baths

they also make vitamins for dogs that are for healthy skin and coat. you can probably get these at a local pet co!
Take your dog to someone who can find out if your dog has allergies. Some breeds of dogs are prone to different allergies so look up online and see.
omega 3 oil capsules
Thats so cool?
First of all, fish oil/vit E pills are about the best thing you can feed him. You can try getting the same omega fatty acids by feeding things like sardines...but you're going to have to feed a LOT of them to have the same effect as the capsules. You can also try buying fish oil capsules from the drug store, health food store, etc...but you'll probably end up paying about the same amount as you would buying them from the vet. Keep in mind that cheap supplements are often cheap for a reason...they often aren't as effective or as safe as the more expensive supplements.
You can try buying an aloe and oatmeal shampoo and conditioner from the pet store. But again, it might not be as effective as the products you get from the vet.help blackheads

Why doesn't Conditioner froth up like Shampoo?
Because shampoo is for washing. All things for washing froth up like soap, dishwashing liquid and washing detergent. Conditioner is for puttin moisture into your hair so it is like hand cream for your hands and body. Anything that adds moisture doesn't froth up.Why doesn't Conditioner froth up like Shampoo?
Because it isn't soap. It is to condition your hair, not wash it.Why doesn't Conditioner froth up like Shampoo?
Cause it does'nt have frothing agent.

What will happen if I shampooed my hair without conditioner for a year?
Will it make my hair extremely dry? Would I need to buy the same brand conditioner to revive my hair? What will happen if I shampooed my hair without conditioner for a year?
Nothing bad will happen to it, they didn't have conditioner in the stone age! But it depends what else you do to it. If you just use a good shampoo and allow it to dry naturally, then ok. But if you heat dry it and use straighteners or curling irons then you will end up with a complete mess - badly damaged and dry. What will happen if I shampooed my hair without conditioner for a year?
Why would you do that? Don't you use moisturizer on your face or body lotion or hand cream? Your hair will get dry, static and more out of shape. Hard to handle and harder to style. You will need more gel or spray or other products to style it. you will have to buy a deep conditioner and masks.
Why would you even want to? Every other day I skip shampooing because my hair get to dry? Why get rid of conditioner? Why?
Just dont.
It's not going to do any damage to your hair but as long as you aren't conditioning your hair won't feel as soft. As soon as you use conditioner again it will feel soft again.
Nothing Bad Will Happen. I've Done It Before But If You Want Your Hair To Look As Pretty As It Does When You Condition It, Then I Suggest You Get Some Grease...Or Something
if its good shampoo, then i dont think it will totally ruin your hair. but i dont know. i use conditioner every other time i shampoo.
it would get all knotty, dry, hard to control, eeeeew
doesn't bear thinking about!
doon'ttttttt do it baba
nothing, but if your hair is curly than i would use it

I have been using Dove breakage therapy shampoo and conditioner. I have more hair fall. Currently I am staying in United States, I am not able to get treatment for this. Kindly suggest me a cream or shampoo to stop this. My skin color gets tanned and I have black circles under my eyes.
And I have some black spots on my thighs and legs for the last three years. I have taken some medicine, still it is dark.

SANGITA,
Don't accept Hair Loss, whatever be the cause. Dove is not a solution for your problem. It is just one commercial shampoo. Suggest you to go for Professional products.
In US, you have the option to use the ';Segals'; Brand of Canadian hair care and treatment products. The products have a large clientele among the quality-conscious and upwardly mobile customers in various countries including the USA, Canada, France, Australia and Hong-Kong.
The products are revolutionary and the product range consists of a wide range of Formulations, Shampoos, Conditioners, Supplements, etc all manufactured for a precise and specific application to achieve desired results. The products are a highly concentrated and balanced compound of rare and exotic botanical herbs and other active ingredients including antioxidants. The scalp and hair-formulations have been designed to arrest hairloss and promote hair regrowth, treat thinning, damaged/dry hair, dandruff and psoriasis-like conditions in the scalp. Needless to say, all the products are effectively pH balanced, without side-effects and are guaranteed for visible results.
Specific to your problem, it is stated that hair loss starts due to an improper hair-cell metabolism. Good nutrition is important to have thick, full, luxurious hair with bounce, shine and proper texture. To ensure good quality hair growth and texture, the hair root needs a constant supply of oxygen and nutritional substances, which it obtains from the blood. The starved hair follicle needs to be nourished from within. The lack of proper nutrition to the hair root and follicle and unbalanced vitamin intake leads to tired hair and subsequent hair loss. Apart from lack of nutrients, Stress also causes hair-loss by the constriction of capillaries which feed the hair follicle. Stress also causes excessive perspiration attracting airborne debris and pollutants, thus clogging the hair follicles, leading to hair-loss.
It is suggested that you to use a herbal supplementation formulated from the best known herbs for healthy hair growth from roots. The rare herbs and active ingredients that help so are Fo-Ti, Stinging Nettle, Kelp, SawPalmetto, Roobois, Gingko Biloba, Chamomile extract, Panthenol, Polysorbate 80, Shea Biutter, Silica, Rosemary, Inositol, Biotin and Horsetail extract.
Recommend you the following for a minimum period of 3 months for visible results leading to reversal of the loss of your hair :
i) Segals Hair Root Formula: For cleaning the scalp and revitalizing the root of the hair for new hair growth. It makes the root free of all sebum, grime, flakes and dirt thereby strengthening the root and thus encouraging hair to grow. The blood circulation in the root is considerably enhanced, laying the foundation for healthy hair growth. To be applied on the scalp every night before bed. Not sticky. Will get absorbed in the scalp on its own.
ii) Segals Advanced Hair Root Supplement: For stimulating hair-cell metabolism and strengthening the connective tissue. Active ingredients in the Supplement have a nutritional ability to not only grow back lost hair but also restore hair to its natural colour and strength. Contains rare herbs like Fo-Ti, Saw-Palmetto, Kelp, Stinging Nettle, Inositol, Biotin, Horsetail and Silica, apart from other active botanical extracts, which are proven to show healthy hair growth from the roots.
Alongwith the Formulation and Hair Supplement suggested above, you need to you use Segals Damaged Hair/Dry Scalp Shampoo/Conditioner specific to arrest these problems.

Conditioner and Shampoo?
Hello all, it's my first time using a conditioner now (not a leave-in). I'm male with curly hair. How would I best use shampoo and conditioner?
Would it be ok if I washed my hair with shampoo in the shower, rinse it out. Get out of the shower, dry my hair a bit, apply the conditioner, leave it in for a few minutes, and then wash it out?Conditioner and Shampoo?
dont listen to the guy up the top.. you obviously care about how you look, which women love in men!!
you should put the shampoo in, lather into foam then rinse off immediately.. then put your conditioner in,work into a lather then leave on for 2 minutes and rinse off. i would recommend using a shampoo %26amp; conditioner which has been created for curly hair.. gives it extra bounce.. lovely!
works a treat (:Conditioner and Shampoo?
That's just a lot of work. :) Shampoo, squeeze out any excess water, then massage in your conditioner. Use it very sparingly on your roots and focus more on the ends. Leave it in while you wash up to give the hair time to absorb the conditioner. Rinse with cool or cold water to lock in moisture.
Unless your hair is long or very damaged, you probably do not need to use a separate conditioner every day; doing so can weigh down your hair causing it to look dirty/oily. You can use a combo shampoo/conditioner and that will keep your hair healthy, or just condition once or twice a week.
Wash your hair, rinse it, put in the conditioner, finish the rest of your shower, rinse out the conditioner. If you have very dry hair, you can take a very small amount of conditioner and work it through your hair and leave it in. Not too much, though, or it will look greasy.
Wash your hair with shampoo first, wash out the shampoo, then put the conditioner in your hair, do all your other stuff while the conditioner is still in your hair, wash body face etc. When you are done all that wash your conditioner out.
u should do all the washing in the shower. don't leave the conditioner in to long itll make your hair to soft and some tends to come out
try herbal Essence curly solution (its in either the red or pink bottle) and using conditioner is fine...
I thought you said you were a man. Men don't use conditioner.

Can soak my hair and put leave in conditioner without shampooing hair?
If you leave in the conditioner already, just wash your hair every three days. It is very healthy for your hair to distribute the natural oils in your hair, which shampooing rips of. Just don't forget to shampoo at least once every three days!
Hope this helps! %26lt;3Can soak my hair and put leave in conditioner without shampooing hair?

What can I put in my hair instead of oil so it's not dry? How can I make it smell like shampoo and conditioner?
I have Afro textured hair or African American hair. Is washing my hair often bad for my hair? Often as in every 3 days or so. If i don't add oil it gets really hard to comb and really dry. If I moisturize it with oils/creams, it leaves my hair really greasy even if i add a small amount. Is their some trick i can use that leaves my hair smelling only like the shampoos and conditioners or something good instead of the oil?
And how often should i wash my hair. I know washing my hair everyday or every other day is REALLY extremely bad. so that's out of the question. [ :

My cousin runs a potatoe chip plant and they sell there chips to a dollar store and a big brand name. The stuff inside is the same just packaged different.
I used to do that to my mom if she didnt buy Infusium 23 (6 bucks for a small bottle). I don't use it anymore, but my all time fave smelling is Finesse.

Do they make shampoos and conditioner for ppl with oily hair?
also are they expensive? and i heard about a hair brush that removes oil from your hair when you use it anybody heard of that?Do they make shampoos and conditioner for ppl with oily hair?
I don't know about the brush, but the shampoo and conditioner is a yes. Actually, I have oily hair. To treat it, I first wash with shampoo and then I wash it with a shampoo-conditioner combination as my conditioner. Hope this helps.Do they make shampoos and conditioner for ppl with oily hair?
There are all types and they range in price from really cheap to expensive just like any Shampoo. If it is really oily, wash all of your hair while only conditioning your ends. If it helps, wash every day and condition every other day.
Look for a clarifying shampoo and a weightless conditioner if you still need to condition. Or you could find ones that are specific for oily hair as well. They say it on the label. Try different brands until you find one you like. I use a suave brand that smells minty and is cheap, and it works really well.
I also do not know about the brush, sorry. I really do not have very oily hair, I just get build up now and then.
There are all different kinds that can do that for you.
Go to a pharmacy and ask.
tons of them at Wal Mart
yes, just read the lables on the bottles
Yes they do. You can find them at most stores and salons. Some are more expensive than others, but are more likely to work. Look for a non hydrating shampoo.
Yes. Just go to like any pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist there. They can hook you up.
Generally volumizing shampoos have less oils and conditioners in them, and an increased amount of alcohol (which can dry out hair and scalp). Also, salons carry really great shampoos for oily hair and scalp. One great brand is LANZA. A cheaper alternative is Head %26amp; Shoulders (make sure to get the bottle marked for oily to normal hair). Hope that helps!

My friend told me that you shouldn't wash your hair too often (or at least with shampoo) cause it strips the color away, so I was wondering whether there are other things I can do to keep the color, I don't want it to fade before school starts. My friend also told me to wash my hair with BOTH (mixed together) shampoo and conditioner..., meaning instead of just shampoo wash it with both mixed together in a lather...I don't know if that will work, will it? I wash my hair at least 3 times a week so don't want color to wash away.Ways to keep your colored hair not fade (i heard about washing hair with SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER)?
The best thing to do is going to a salon JC Penny has a good one and get shampoo and condidioner with out Sulfate ... Sulfates in the shampoo and conditioner is what pulls the color out..They are more expensive but it keeps the color in longer.

REDKEN lightening conditioner or MATRIX Silver shampoo?
Anyone know which gives the best results on slightly lightening and removing orangey-yellow hair tonesREDKEN lightening conditioner or MATRIX Silver shampoo?
redken products are rlly good ;]
not sure about matrix tho, but i love redekn ;DREDKEN lightening conditioner or MATRIX Silver shampoo?
A blonde shampoo will not really ';remove'; yellow or brassy tones. They just tend to enhance the blonde over time. If you are trying to remove unwanted tones after a color, you really need to use a toner. If you are looking for a shampoo to enhance and maintain blonde, then go for the Matrix Silver.
I will add though that blonde hair does pick up more of the nasty particles floating in the air, such as smoke, and can actually turn colors from it. If this is the case, then you need a good clarifying shampoo, followed by a blonde shampoo.

Have you ever considered eliminating this problem all together? This company I order my water filters from is having a big sale. You need to get a carbon filter cartridge and a housing, someone on chat can give you more specifics but they are having a sale right now on their whole house Big Blue cartridges and filter housings.

I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?
I have layered shoulder length blonde hair. Its sort of a light wavy, but I prefer it pin straight. Sometimes I straighten my hair every other day. Like, I will straighten it one day, not wash it that night then touch it up in the morning.
I vary my shampoo and conditioners, I use Pantene Pro-V 2in1 Anti-Frizz (I believe), Head And Shoulders, Suave, or Bath And Body Works- Warm Vanilla Sugar.
Is there any really good products for my hair that will keep it looking beautiful and healthy while being straight?
I also dont blow dry my hair. (Physically Challenged! :D) I take a shower at night then I let it dry over night and wake up and straighten my hair section by section. (Bottom, Up)
Thanks Ahead Of Time. :)I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?
I straighten my hair almost every day as well. You should stay away from the cheap shampoos, like Pantene, Suave... all that. They can be pretty bad for your hair. My hairdresser recommended Redken for me. There's many different styles... dry hair, damaged hair, all that. There's also something I use to put in my hair before I straighten. It helps with the heat against my hair. Hope this helps!I straighten my hair every day, or every other day, whats the best shampoo and conditioner for me to use?
Do nottttt use Pantene Pro-V. If you look on the back of the bottle there's like 6 different alcohols in it which are NOT good for your hair. Use Aussie!
If you're going to straighten your hair that much, you need to invest in better hair products. Those cheap ones have stuff in it that makes your hair look good temporarily, but eventually weakens it. Try Biolage, Joico, Matrix shampoos. Ask a professional hairdresser what type is best for you. I'd also get a really good serum to put in your ends to seal the cuticle since the biggest problem with heat styling hair is getting split ends. A nice flat-iron is super important, too. I have a Chi ceramic and I love it! Finally, get your hair cut regularly. That will keep your hair looking healthy!
I used to straighten my hair alot, too. But eventually I realized that I needed to find other ways my hair looked good to keep from damaging it so much. Experiment a little. You might find another way to do it that won't stress your hair so when you DO straighten it, it will look stunning!
Oh, also! I use Matrix Sleek Look spray. It comes in a little orange bottle. You spray it in your hair just before you straighten and it not only protects your hair, but it keeps it the way you want for longer. I think they have other versions of stuff like this too, like Chi Iron spray.
try aussie thats what i use. and i do what you do.
so it works pretty good.
I use this really good shampoo and conditioner : Pantene time renewal. Your reading what it does, and u think its bullshit. Until you try it. I garuntee its not bull. It can restore up to 2 years worth of dammage on your hair in just one month. I mean dammage like, blow-drying, straightenneing, perms, and even pregnancy. And it does leave ur hair looking and feeling soft, and its extremely good for dry hair too. Also cleans well. So from experience, it does work, and it is the best shampoo and conditionner ive never tried for dry hair. Its not that expensive either.
