What are best shampoos/conditioners for oily hair?

What are some good light-medium hold hairsprays that are okay for my hair type?

What are good brands for oily hair shampoo and conditioner?

What types of shampoos and conditioners should I use, and how often? (ex: clarifying shampoos, volumizing shampoos, etc.)

What do I look for in good oily hair products? What are best shampoos/conditioners for oily hair?
alll ur needs can be solved with one produvt and that is sunsilk and it amzing trust me hun!!

good luck!!!What are best shampoos/conditioners for oily hair?
any head %26amp; shoulders i used to have that problem and i still use it as regular shampoo!:]
I would recommend the Scalp Therapy shampoo and conditioner by Bumble and Bumble. It helps balance out the scalp, so it won't be so oily. That way if your scalp is healthier, then in turn your hair is also healthier.

In terms of styling products, it really depends on the texture and density of your hair??? Post some more info please.

Hope this helps :-)
I use Tresemme, that or Herbal Essences. It works for every type of hair. And usually the volumizing shampoo works best.
For oily hair, almost any cheap clarifying shampoo will do; I'd go with Suave for price.

Regarding spray, I'd select Paul Mitchell's Freeze %26amp; Shine; it's great for oily hair or humid environments.

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?

i have this crazy curly hair, that i really love- but it's a bittersweet adoration. i can never get just the right texture and curl- either it's super shiny, defined curls and nastily crunchy, or impossible, frizzy, but soft and natural, i would love a happy medium. thanks so much for your replies!Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
use the john frieda range for your hair - frizz ease to control the frizz, and their smoothing shampoo/conditioner, and mousse.Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?
The best way... go to a salon, and get a conditioning shampoo. you can't limit yourself to one product, such as mousse. You must use several... mousse to blow dry and/or scrunch with, a shine spray, then finish up with a finishing spray. i'm a hair stylist. you may want to try some ';biolage- smoothing serum'; works wonders. one of my favourites, the paul mitchell:express style- worked up, and i really like the sebastian or paul mitchell finishing sprays. good luck!
ever heard of a razor?

lot's of celebs and jocks do it
Definitely...There are so many out right now.

It can be really fun. Try adding product to your hair when it's wet, before you comb it out, and after it's dry, before you run your fingers through it, or possibly a comb. Be careful, it creates friction...which creates frizz. Some leave in conditioners help get rid of the crunchy factor, (ie.Sexy hair concepts or Tigi), when used in conjunction with a curling creme or spray.

...Cosmetologist =o)
Redken Ringlet 07 is the best for curly hair..no matter what type of curls you have it makes them ringlets. it doesnt make hair hard, it shines and smells great. would definitely give it a try.
I have pretty much the same hair type,so I see where you are coming from there! A few tips that I have picked up along the way...

- Use a good quality hair conditioner, curly hair tends to be dry by nature so will respond well to a good conditioner. My faves at the moment are Tigi 'Curls Rock' Conditioner and Joico 'Moisturise'.

- Leave the conditioner in your hair for as long as possible in the shower and afterwards rinse it out in cold water.... as cold as you can tolerate it Hot water tends to make your hair frizz otherwise

- After washing it, wrap it in a towel but avoid rubbing it etc as it tends to make it go a little on the frizzy side!

- Use a hair mousse designed for curly hair... I'd definitely use the Frizz Ease stuff- it rocks!

Apart from that I'd just say see a good hairdresser who understands curly hair, as the way it is cut/ layered etc makes a big difference to how manageable it is. I also tend to keep it at a reasonable length as I find if it gets too long that weight of it tends to pull the curl downwards making it seem more frizzy than curly.

Good Luck! :)

Oh and I'm also interested in any other tips that people have!
I have long, thick curly hair; and for what seemed forever I had tried looking for the perfect solution to tame my unruly mane. After trying literally every hair product available, I found that these products were absolutely the best, and will give you the best satisfactory results:

#1: Best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for frizzy hair Kerastase has the best products in our opinion for curly hair. Their Nutritive Bain Elasto-Curl Shampoo is praised by beauty experts for its intense moisturizing properties. It will soften coarse, curly hair while enhancing your natural curl without letting it get frizzy on you.

For conditioners, go the Kerastase route again, with its Nutritive Masquintense conditioner:

Best hair-styling cream Creams are a must for calming flyaways while boosting shine. We love Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste. This product works great on dry hair. Simply rub a bit between your hands then palm over your curly hair.

#3. Best shine serums for curly hair Smooth frizz %26amp; flyaways with a great shine serum. A great less-expensive project (about $6) is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum:

A medium-price gloss to try is Bumble %26amp; Bumble 'DeFrizz'

A great-but-pricey gloss is Rene Furterer Spray Gloss:

#4. Best relaxing balms Another great way to tame coarse, flyaway hair is to use a relaxing balm. You'll love these lightweight textures that won't leave hair feeling greasy:

PhytoDefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm. This relaxing balm is considered a must-have in every stylist's kit, according to InStyle magazine's 'Best Beauty Buys' 2006 issue.

We also like KMS Flat-Out Relaxing Balm

#5. Best styling gel for curly hair The pros say Senscience Smooth Gelee ($13, call 800-626-3684) is perfect for taming coarse, curly hair. It's also great when blow-drying or ironing hair straight. You'll find it won't make hair stiff, a bad effect of using many gels.

No perm or professional relaxer will do the miracle work of these products! Try each one and see which one you like the best.

You can use your regular shampoo and conditioner and then use the Aussie conditioner after wards.

You can tell the difference literally after one wash! It's amazing.

I really recommend it!

:)

EDIT: Also, it's not expensive either which is always a bonus!

I absolutely love and recommend the Simply Organic line. Made with honey and olive oil, very gentle on your hair and leaves it shiny. Safe for color-treated. Tangles slip right out of long hair. Simply Organic has great styling products as well.
Use a kids shampoo if you don't put a lot of product in your hair. It is very gentle and won't wash out your hairs natural oils. Biolage makes really great conditioners as does Kenra. Redken conditioners never seem to do a lot, BedHead is also good.
matrix biolage its great

What are some good shampoos/conditioners for dry/damaged hair?

I've dyed my hair alot and I also straighten it, so it's dry and damaged, and it's realllll frizzy. I'd like to know what shampoos and conditioners are good for damaged hair?

I mean store bought brands. If I tell my mom to take me to Sallys, she'll tell me she will and then it'll never happen.

Help me out a little? :)What are some good shampoos/conditioners for dry/damaged hair?
For shampoo I like Nexxus Therappe. What are some good shampoos/conditioners for dry/damaged hair?
Here's the deal: if you get sauve, garnier or herbal essence your hair will become even worse. Please don't do that to yourself! Those products either contain parafin wax (which coats the hair strand until it eventually chokes it and it breaks off) or alkaline (which strips the hair of everything including the stuff you need!). Do you honestly think your hair will be healthy if you wash it with .99 cent shampoo that for some reason has drain cleaner in it? You really really need to invest in at least some paul michell or joico, especially where you say your hair is chemically damaged with box color.

Look for something with natural ingredients and humuctants, and possibly protien.

I would really suggest Dove Intense Damage Repair for you.
You should try redken, or schwarzkopf. I always use those and i dye my hair an straigten it. Those brands are a bit expensive but work great! You should be able to get them at any proffesional hair salon.
Aussie is pretty good - I bought some during the winter when my hair was going wild and it tamed the splits. I always use Pantene ProV, and I love it.
Matrix is THE BEST to repair hair, it works fast and is long lasting. It smells wonderful too.
herbal essence really works, because i flat iron my hair all the time and it keeps it healthy

  • Why does the hair salon use three shampoos/conditioners on my hair?

Whenever I go they wash my hair with three things. Obviously the first is shampoo and the last is conditioner, but what would the third thing be? Is it just shampoo again? I'm just curious because it makes my hair feel really nice. Why does the hair salon use three shampoos/conditioners on my hair?
just because something makes your hair feel and look nice doesn't mean it's necessarily good for your hair :: most salon and store brand shampoos have sls (sles) in them which when used over time actually causes hair to thin =\

    http://www.hairlossbuddy.com/20/sodium-l鈥?/a>

a lot of shampoos and conditioners have lots of harsh chemicals in them that aren't just bad for your hair but bad for your health :: you want to check all the ingredients and make sure they are safe!!

    http://www.sunshine-health.org/left_menu鈥?/a>

burt's bee's: kiss my face: jasons: alba and aubrey organics are safe brands to use =]

you can make your own natural conditioners @ home:: http://www.pioneerthinking.com/hair.htmlWhy does the hair salon use three shampoos/conditioners on my hair?
    Hi,

Yes, they're just washing your hair with shampoo twice. It's recommended that you do that anyway, as the 1st shampoo only takes certain parts of the dirt off your hair. You'll find if you shampoo it a second time, you'll create more of a lather and your hair will therefore be cleaner afterwards. Clean hair should squeak if you run your fingers down it when wet.

What are good shampoo and conditioners for ethnic hair?

Pantene has lines for women of color. Pantene pro-v Relaxed and Natural is good for black women. and I believe they just came out with a line for hispanic women called Extra Liso. I'm black, and I use the Relaxed and Natural. It works wonderfully. It also smells good. A lot of shampoos for African-Americans smells bad because of the emphasis on moisturization...i think they forget to add fragrance...What are good shampoo and conditioners for ethnic hair?
Personally, I use Granier Fructis shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner because it makes my hair healthy, strong, and smells amazing. Plus, it is cheap. My hair wasn't breaking off as much, when I use these products. But everybody hair is different. I suggest you find a good shampoo and conditioners that suits your particular needs. What are good shampoo and conditioners for ethnic hair?
ethnic as in african hispanic what? we all have different hair
    MOP Glisten shampoo %26amp; conditioner

    ( modern organic products)
I am african american and I use shampoo's that has shampoo%26amp;conditioner in one. For example: Pert works great on my hair and I also use the best conditioners.. You have to analyze your hair too determine which conditioner works great in your hair..

I also trim my hair every 6 weeks to avoid having so many split ends... Good Luck!!!
    sunsilk
';Aussi'; or whatever you call it. The purple and white container with a kangeroo on the front.
i use Pantene ProV Relaxed and Natural. it cleans and conditions without making my hair feel like straw, like with cheap (less than $1 a bottle) shampoos that will remain nameless.

i have also tried Optimum Care and Dark %26amp; Lovely. they're pretty good but i usually have a coupon for Pantene so that's what i get.
sorry..maybe if you could explain what you mean by ethnic..

Anyone know any amazing shampoo/conditioners for severly damaged hair??

something that REPAIRS dry, fryed, broken, damaged hair! ha

and that won't burn a hole in your wallet...

go to a beauty supply store like Sally's (national chain and good)

The people who work there will go over just what you need

the prices are ok lower than going into a hair salon just

You will probably need to get a heat treatment

I use one and just wrap head in plastic wrap and

put a hot towel on it and keep heating towel

put towel (damp) into microwave for 1 min or 2

Wella Cholestral was a good one and you can get it

are the best without costing a fortune I use one

bottle that is white with pink writing on it and it

    really works wonders

good luckAnyone know any amazing shampoo/conditioners for severly damaged hair??
    Dove intensive Care.Try it
Dove intense damage therapy. It works great! Made my hair feel soft and it smells great!
    Ganier Fructis.
Pantene Moisture Renewal. Only a few bucks. Try the deep conditioner. Put it in your hair after washing and leave it in a for few hours. Run a hot blow dryer over it to open the pores and then rinse with COLD water. This will seal the pores and keep moisture in. You can even leave it in over night with a shower cap on. Then rinse it in the morning. I wouldn't recommend this if you have really greasy hair thought. After I started using this, I got compliments on my shiny hair. It really does wonders.

Also, make sure you get your split ends cut off regularly. This will help your hair to grow faster and it will look and feel much better. If you want, think about chopping all your hair off and getting a great bob (they're very in style now!) This will allow your hair to start from scratch, so to speal. It will really help.
no product did miracles so far, but there's dove (the dark blue think for severely damaged hair) it worked pretty well for me and mom. it made my hair really smooth..i bought it from cvs. there's a light and dark blue versions, get the DARK one :)
do NOT use Pantene. Pantiene shampoos have a huge amount of alcohol in them and dry you hair very easily. I would suggest using Dove shampoo because it has a lot of moisturizing minerals in it. It will make your hair very soft and touchable :)
infusium leave on spray in conditioner from walmart

Are coloring enhancing shampoos/conditioners only for color treated hair?

Like the Sunilk brilliant brunnette shampoo/conditioner and the pantene line, are they only for people who have colored hair?

I'm a natural brunnette and I didn't dye my hair, will the shampoos enhance my natural hair color? Are coloring enhancing shampoos/conditioners only for color treated hair?
They have a very small amount of a semi permanent hair dye in them. They may actually enhance the color a little but not a lot.

I use the color free gloss in the hair dye section every 3 months. I love it. You should try it if you want shinier hair without dyeing itAre coloring enhancing shampoos/conditioners only for color treated hair?
yes they will. They have fortifiers in them that away all the dullness in your hair. They are not just for color treated hair. You will notice a difference the first time but after about seven days you will notice the difference. Good Luck!
they're not only for color treated hair, they're made to enhance anyone's hair color, natural or not.

    hope i helped!
You may get lucky but I don't think it would have any effect on your hair. Save your $
you can use it, but i would get something else
    i have no clue

Is it true that alternating shampoos/conditioners is better for your hair than sticking to one?

Is it better to stick to one brand/line of shampoo conditioner? Or is it better to use one line for a few months, and then switch to another? OR is it better to use one shampoo and conditioner twice a week, and another kind twice a week? Help! Thanx! Is it true that alternating shampoos/conditioners is better for your hair than sticking to one?
it is better to alternate. because if you use that certin type of shampoo/conditioner your hair can become ammune to it and not do anything for it. so yes it is better to alternate. i usually do it when i run out of shampoo/conditioner.Is it true that alternating shampoos/conditioners is better for your hair than sticking to one?
i've heard switching / alternating every once in a while is good.

but if you want effective results based on the shampoo/conditioner you buy, then i would say stick to it for a week or two at least.

i condition my hair every time i shower

if i didnt sweat earlier or anything then i might skip shampoo

    Use Matrix's sleek range.

    Matrix products are AMAZINGG.

Some people complain that they're too expensive but the truth is you use such a little amount for great results that the bottles last for ages and so the initial price is easily saved in the new bottles you wold otherwise buy.

Also, KMS have a fantastic shine spray. You spray it on lightly and you have an instant shine. It's also very light-weight so it doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy or sticky. What's the best shampoo and conditioners for thick, normal hair to get shiny hair.?

I need tips on how to ship a box full of large bottles of shampoos, conditioners, and lotions?

I need to ship a large box full of large bottles of shampoos, conditioners, lotions and other similar tolitries. The box is going overseas and I would really like it if everything arrived in good condition without everything exploded all over the place. I was planning on just putting everything in plastic ziploc bags, but if anyone has a lot of experience shipping this type of thing, please if you have any good tips, I would really appreciate it. ThanksI need tips on how to ship a box full of large bottles of shampoos, conditioners, and lotions?
you need to tape off all the lids so there is no possible way they could open. then, wrap everything individually in about two or three layers of bubble wrap and two or three layers of newspaper. i suggest lining the bottom of the box with packing pellets, then putting everything in, then adding more pellets. make sure the box is packed tight enough, this will prevent things from getting jostled around.

it's a good idea to be extra careful when packing things, esp when they are going overseas, because they aren't going to exactly handle your stuff with care. hope this helps.I need tips on how to ship a box full of large bottles of shampoos, conditioners, and lotions?
go to your local convienience store or ABC store, and ask if they have a box with cardboard bottle separators in it. You can put the bottles and things in separate slots and just fill the empty space with paper, packing it all in well, and you should have no problem.
buy the packaging peanuts they help so they won't move and it buffers a hit like if the package falls on the floor or is being crushed by another box

Is there shampoo/ conditioners with sunscreen to protect the hair & scalape (without oily residue)?

At our salon we recommend Redken's UV Rescue series. It consist of shampoo, conditioner, Brunette Guard, and UV guard. Each product has an SPF of 15. The UV guard spray is great to use before you get into the pool because the hair will soak up the product and not the chlorine which can fade hair color, discolor and dry-out hair. It also helps protect hair from the sun so color stays truer longer. These products also protect your scalp and none of them contain oil. Feels like nothing is in the hair.

    Thankyou in advance~

I really appreciate everyone's advice! What are the best shampoos/conditioners to use to help/prevent split ends and damaged hair?
No shampoo can prevent split ends or damage. You need to keep your hair very moisturized in order to make sure it doesn't break at all.

Here are some shampoos I would recommend that would help keep your hair especially moisturized:

    - TIGI Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo

    - Aussie Moist Shampoo

    - Frizz Ease Curl Around Style-Starting Daily Shampoo

    - BioSilk Hydrating Shampoo

What are the best shampoos/conditioners to use to get soft shiny hair?

Im willing to pay up to $30.

also what other things can i do to get soft silky hair? What are the best shampoos/conditioners to use to get soft shiny hair?
Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner works best. It's around $3-7 a bottle (depending on the size). What are the best shampoos/conditioners to use to get soft shiny hair?
Either Garnier Fructise Sleek N Shine or Mane N Tail. And other things to do to get soft silky hair is to stop all heat styling for at least a year or two.
Mane n Tail works GREAT! And it makes my (or anybody's) hair grow faster.

    aussie is awesomee

it can help rid of your frizzes and makes your hair totally smooth and shiny

What is some really good good hair shampoos/conditioners?
I know the perfect product for you, i have the same problems with my hair lol!! First i would use Blonde Glam shampoo, and then i would use Real Control conditioner. This will help with the frizz and puffiness but it will also make your blonde look amazing, and it will give you a natural shine! These products are from the redken line. I promise if you use them, they will repair your hair and you WILL notice a difference. In addition i would only recommend shampooing and conditioning every other day. doing it everyday can damage the hair more.
    Sounds like my hair, haha.

I started using Biosilk hydrating shampoo, and oh my gooodness.

It's great for my hair! Makes my hair feel SUPER SUPER soft, not that frizzy and helps with damaged hair.

Runs for about 10-13$ depending where you buy it.

It's great, and you should get the conditioner too!
sounds like my hair but im a brunette. but i use dove shampoo and i love it ! and then i use paul mitchell leave in conditioner, expensive but works really good and lasts awhile!

optimum oil therapy recovery shampoo and conditioner they leave my hair so soft and gorgeous

    Pantene Pro-v relaxed and natural

    trust me!!
Products are irrelevant. Proper MAINTENANCE stimulates hair growth. Movement comes as a result of not having a bunch of crap weighing your hair down. Hair can't move if it's full of grease...

I find myself having to switch a lot but here are the prodcuts I like.

    Motions.

Mizani (HANDS DOWN..any of their products)

    KeraCare

    Nexxus.

I'm using Pantene Relaxed and Natural and it is VERY good. Your shampoo/conditioner should be something which will moisturize. I mean it will be if it's for black folks.

There's this line called Organics, I love it. I think that's the line the girl above me was talking about. My hair has gotten used to the shampoos but they have this Olive Oil Replenishing pak...very good. I'll leave it on for an hour and my hair will be so soft when I take it off. It smells good too.

The products you buy depend on your hair really.I mean--I can tell you what's good but you have to buy products for the hair you have. If it's thin you should buy products catering to thin and soft hair.

If you hair is weak and damaged. You should buy products which help strengthen...there are ingredients you should look for but for the life of me I can't remember. I think it's Keratin and Amino something and Protein. I 'm sorry...

If it's overly dry your products should be geared towards retaining moisture and natural oils. See what I mean?

See, so I don't really buy gels and pomades and all kinds of straightening lotions and crap. My hair is dry so I buy a lot of conditioning/moisturizing heavily oil based products, like, hot oil treatments, conditioners and hair masks.

I'll wash my hair, put in 3 conditioners (not at the same time) and just chill under the dryer with some wine and my Essence magazine!

    LOL.

It takes me about 2-3 hours to wash and condition the hair. (when I don't do a hot oil) Many women don't like washing THEIR own hair. But I do. This is the reason why my hair is healthy. Hair washing is a ritual for me. Every Sunday...

As far as moisturizers. I just use hair lotion from Organics. I don't like Pink Oil moisturizer. If my hair looks dry I use oil sheen. That's it. Then I flat iron and wrap it and tie it up.

You mentioned straightening--I don't really use straightening wax as much as I did when my hair was tapered but regular old curl wax was good. I liked Mizani curl wax though. I mean to me it's all the same crap....petroleum.

    But--

If you want your hair to grow, you must limit heat styling. You have to---because HEAT, black hair and Relaxers don't go together, girl.

Or maybe you could try 'wet-sets' or cute updos. That way you can maintain a style without using heat.

Do you know how to wrap your hair? If not learn.

Also sleep with a silk bonnet if u don't already. It doesn't pull at the hair at night as cotton and other fabrics do.
thats racist shampoo! haha na anything for thicker hair does but if you really want to specify than ask your local hairdresser, not necessarily about what they have to offer but what the best product is on the public market like in your supermarket
    Organix.
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix.

It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free, so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! What are some shampoo and conditioners to make my hair like straw ?

i like it when my hair feels like strawWhat are some shampoo and conditioners to make my hair like straw ?
Cruchy hair is not healthy. It's dried out, and breaks and gets split ends.

Use Dawn (or some other harsh soap), and no conditioner. Conditioner ads moisture.

Also, certain dyes will do that to your hair, if you don't use them right. It happened to me once, and my hair got crunchy, and it started ripping out when I brushed it. It was aweful.

Hair gel/mousse can also give your hair a coarser texture, but it won't me ';like straw';. It won't damage it as much either though. What are some shampoo and conditioners to make my hair like straw ?
Well you can never tell what some people will like. Go to the $ store and buy the most inexpensive kind you can.
    hahahah i dunno use panteeennnnn!

I have fine, oily hair, do I need a conditioner with oily hair, I use ION voluming shampoo, without success..?

volumizing shampoos never work. the best way to volumize your hair is to blow dry it when it is damp at the roots to give it a little boost. i also have fine oily hair and after 20 years of experimentation i have found my best routine. in my junior year in high school i tried not using conditioner to see if it would help the oil problem, well that made it worse. see, without conditioner your scalp tries to make up for the oils it lost; ultimately giving you dry and damaged ends and extremely oily roots. so, get a light conditioner like any suave or try pert plus with a shampoo and conditioner in one that way it keeps your scalp moisturized enough so it doesn't overproduce oils. If the oiliness is bad enough to where you are self concious about it try baby powder or bumble 2 bumble hair powder (comes in shades blonde, brunette, and red), toss some in your hands and pat it on your scalp and shake your head to get rid of shininess and oiliness.I have fine, oily hair, do I need a conditioner with oily hair, I use ION voluming shampoo, without success..?
Go to a salon and they'll help you.

If you're looking for volume, get a diffuser. I use Conair IONshine 1875, and I love it to death. Put in some mousse (not too much or it'll make it look more greasy) and just on your ends, not at your roots, and flip your head over and srunch your hair while blowdrying, and move the blowdrier in little circles around your head. You'll have a full head of beatiful wavy/curly hair.I have fine, oily hair, do I need a conditioner with oily hair, I use ION voluming shampoo, without success..?
ok well some tips are to NOT wash the top of your head it makes it more oily and dont itch that helps too and try to wash it every day!
Ions do nothing for oily hair.

Ions just restore your hair and help it get and stay healthy.

You need to get a shampoo that is deep cleansing and lay off moisturizing conditioners.

    best of luck!

Shampoo molecules go into the hair shaft, attach themselves to molecules of dirt and oil, and wash out. So shampoo cleans hair, that is all it can do. Conditioner deposits minerals and good oils into the hair shaft, that is all it can do. Neither can enhance the color of your hair, that is just a marketing scam, sorry. Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi shampoo is a really really good cleanser. It cleans all the dirt, oil, and stuff out of your hair. then u can follow with Paul Mitchell's ';The Conditioner'; it's great cause you can condition normally or even just get out and put a dime sized amount in your wet hair as a leave in. so it works as both and it's awesome!!What are best shampoos/conditioners for oily hair?
Nioxin is a good brand. You can only get it at salons though and it's a bit expensive. I have oily hair and one that works well for me is Suave Professionals Humectant shampoo. The bottle says that it's for damaged hair but it works great for oily hair and gives it a lot of body. Also you could try a shampoo that's meant to clear up product build up and rinses clean. Neutrogena makes a good one. So does Pantene and Aussie. Folicure is a good brand too but not everyone carries it. If price isn't an issue go to a salon and ask someone there what they wold recommend, most salons carry a variety of types/brands of shampoo. Although in my experience expensive shampoos aren't necessarily better. As far as hair sprays any of the ones by the above mentioned brands would be good too. Good luck.

I always recommend using conditioner because it conditions, reduces tangles, reduces static electricity, make hair shiny.

    Daily??? Don't use Shampoos daily...

Of course, you can shower your hair daily but not with shampoos.

Use Shampoos and Conditioners only once in a week, say a weekend...

well after shampoo you should use conditioner to help you hair become soft, and dnt wash your hair daily try every otehr day, the oils help your hair
Yes, your hair needs the a touch of conditioning moisture that is washed away along with the dirtiness after you've lathered your shampoo and rinsed. So if you are shampooing daily, then you need to follow up with conditioning afterwards.
I would use it after, but not daily. too much conditioner will give you dandriff and greasy hair.
no it is not nesscassy but the conditoner will make your hair stay in place and more softer and silker

  • Do u shampoo damp or wet hair? wat about for conditioner?

When shampooing your hair, you wet your hair completelt untill it is dripping wet, then apply the shampoo and wash it. Once you rinse the shampoo out, repeat the shampooing. When applying conditioner, squeeze all of the access water out of your hair and then towel dry after shampooing. Then apply the conditioner. This is because the conditioner will slide out of wet hair and it won't work very well. So... wet for shampoo (twice) damp for conditioner. Hope I helped you.Do u shampoo damp or wet hair? wat about for conditioner?

How often are you supposed to alternate between shampoos/conditioners to have healthy hair?

I've heard that if you want healthy hair, you should alternate shampoos/conditioners. How often should you alternate? Like use Aussie one day, don't wash the next, use Herbal Essences the next, and repeat. Or use one brand until it runs out, and then switch? HELP! ? THANKS! :))How often are you supposed to alternate between shampoos/conditioners to have healthy hair?
i switch off every day between dove intense damage therapy and head and shouldersHow often are you supposed to alternate between shampoos/conditioners to have healthy hair?
If you want healthy hair, it doesn't matter whether you alternate shampoos and conditioners every week or if you've been using the same shampoo and conditioner for years. If you want healthy hair, avoid heat styling tools like straightening irons and curling irons, and give your hair a break from the hairdryer. Also, you'll want to limit the amount of chemical treatments you get to no more than 4 per year, max.

I have very long and healthy hair, and the reason I do is because I hane't had it colored in almost 2 years, I rarely use a hairdryer, I only use a curling iron a few times per month, and I never use straightening irons. I've also been using the same shampoo and conditioner for the past year or so, and its not some expensive product (I use Suave). Heat styling tools and chemical treatments (like coloring) damage your hair beyond repair. What shampoo and conditioner you use and how often you alternate has no impact on the healthy of your hair.
Honestly I use Redkin products, I switch after each bottle runs out. You have to allow some time to let the current shampoo and conditioner to have effect on your hair. Aussie may feel really good for your hair but it is actually really bad, it has a lot od alcohol in it. Switch to real control by Redkin mama.

I use leave in conditioner can i rinse it out with water or i need to shampoo my hair?

Just wash your hair regular the next day.I use leave in conditioner can i rinse it out with water or i need to shampoo my hair?
Most people do have to use shampoo too. Try rinsing in out with just one shampoo, then putting a tiny bit of conditioner on JUST the ends too, just shampoo will dry it out. Also, tres semme isn't very good for this sort of thing, just incase that's what you're using. (:
If you have short hair, water's probably fine. If you have long hair, you MIGHT need shampoo, but I don't think it's a big deal. I have hair past my shoulders and have never had a problem with it.
wsh your hair lwss and body oil will condition it
    either way is ok!

I want to get a perm but it dries my hair too much. what shampoo and conditioners would keep it from drying.?

my hair gets really dry and frizzy. i need a shampoo that'll make my hair soft while i have a perm. years ago i had a perm and i used nexus. is that still good for perms?I want to get a perm but it dries my hair too much. what shampoo and conditioners would keep it from drying.?
four main reasons for a perm going frizzy are the rollers are too small for the hair, the perm lotion is too strong, the ';fish hook'; ends are not cut off, and over processing.

as long as you can find a perm specialist who can ensure all the above are done correctly then you will not have frizzy hair after a perm.

i would recommend to you (outside salon produces) aussie 3 Minuet Miracle, avaliable at boots or your supermarket..... they are great products which work well and smell great!!!I want to get a perm but it dries my hair too much. what shampoo and conditioners would keep it from drying.?

What are good natural shampoos, conditioners, hair vitamins that work to make ur hair strong & shiny?

    DO NOT USE

    Pantene

    Herbal Essences

    Selsun Blue

    Garnier Fructis

These shampoos work well, but they are loaded with many harsh chemicals that may damage weak/thin hair.

Use organic shampoos that are found in Trader Joes.

Mane n' Tail works really well with making hair thick and strong. It is actually meant for horses, but lots of ladies use it. I am one of them, it leaves my hair clean and loaded with nutrients. What are good natural shampoos, conditioners, hair vitamins that work to make ur hair strong %26amp; shiny?
Mane and tail works great. It is people and horse shampoo it is guarenteed to make you hair thicker stronger and more healthy
Anything from Pantene Pro-V seems to work great!
i have a recipe for the shiniest hair ever.

    1 egg

    2 tsp almond oil and

    5 drops levender essence
The best way to find the best products for your hair is to try them all. That would be pretty expensive but go over to a friends house and use some of her stuff. See how it works, and just keep trying new things. Hair may work with products from this company and not that company....it's all trial and error.

If I can suggest something, I would suggest you try a hot oil treatment....for a cheaper way to have great soft and silky hair with less frizzies, warm up some olive oil (regular cooking stuff) in the microwave and massage it into your hair while it is dry. Wrap it up in a warm towel from the drier and sit for an hour or so. Maybe give yourself a facial at the same time. Then get in the shower, and shampoo out all the oil (because water won't get the oil out--oil and water don't mix) and then condition your hair. Viola! Beautiful silky hair.

The most key thing to protecting your locks is to stay away from all heat. Yep, that means no hairdrier, no straightner, no curling iron either....It's very hard not to advert to these products but just try it for a week. Don't blow dry your hair for a week....try it. I know it's hard not to but if you stay away from things with heat such as blow driers, curling irons, straightners, etc....you will notice a HUGE change in the feel and look of your hair. It will be so much more healthy.
Girl you need to try this NOW.

Pantene which i mostly use and there is a shampoo/conditioner called tresemme. most professional salons use it. its a bit more expensive but it works really well.

What are types of clarifying shampoos/conditioners that are inexpensive?

Like you know, herbal essences, Pantene, Sunsilk. Those types from the drugstore, if ya know what I mean. What are types of clarifying shampoos/conditioners that are inexpensive?
like one girl said erbal essences of tresseme work

or doveWhat are types of clarifying shampoos/conditioners that are inexpensive?
Honestly these are the best Ive tried better than Paul Mitchell they clean your hair really well: Suave daily clarifying shampoo/conditioner or Pantene Purity clarifying shampoo/conditoner.Try them it really depends on your hair type as well.If your hair is on the dry or coarse side these are not the best for you.
VO5 (estimated at $1.00 at drugstores), Garnier Fructis (estimated at $4.00 at drugstores), and TRESemme (estimated at $5.00 at drugstores) are all excellent INEXPENSIVE brands. Stay away from Suave! It has never done what it claims to do.
I used Suave clarifying shampoo to get rid of build up, it had a clean scent, worked well and inexpensive. I'd use it again.
herbal essences and tresseme are good and cheap. plus theyre not tested on animals.

thanks :)My friend doesn't use conditioner and her hair is amazing. Will the same happen to mine if i just use shampoo?
EW no!!!!!!! Your friends hair has something called Ectopizemus, which it when hair is naturally smooth and it is actually unhealthy to use conditioner. If your hair isnt like that, then keep using conditioner or your hair will be disgusting. Trust me, I have Ectopizemus and my sister doesnt. Your friend has naturally smooth and silky hair. Keep conditioning, trust me.My friend doesn't use conditioner and her hair is amazing. Will the same happen to mine if i just use shampoo?
It might it might not if you have dryer hair then you need conditioner she might not use conditionerr cause she has oily hair, see what kind of shampoo she uses is it Pantene?

my friends use Pantene and now i do and i love my hair it's soo shiny i use the Pantene sheer voulme i used to use Redken but i likt this way better
Nope, all depends on the hair type...and if you chemically treat it or not. I used to never have to use conditioner, it actually made me hair oily, but now that I color it, I can't go without it!

You can try it and see how it works, but if you don't see any change, always use conditioner. In the end it's going to do nothing but help it!
you should start with does you friend straighten her hair or blowdry it if not? that might be a eason also different peoples hair produce different kinds of natural oils. i recommend that if youre brave enough try it. but it might not wirk and your hair coould end up drastically drying up.
it depends on what kind of hair your friend has, and what her hair care routine is. she probably uses something for her hair after she showers.

if you both have exactly the same hair care routine, you might as well try it. i would ask her abut her hair products first.
No, different hair types need different products. It's always recommended to use a small amount of conditioner (but well rinsed out afterwards) to protect the hair against damage.
No, she must have some special type of shampoo, you really shouldn't stop using conditioner, it makes your hair healthier looking.
Probably not, conditioner is used to make your hair softer, shinier, and more manageable.
Probably not. Most people need a little conditioner to prevent damage from brushing, etc.

Has anyone tried doo grow products and if so how do they compare to other perms/shampoo and conditioners?

I have tried the products, they are really good, although they can be a bit waxy. You will want to use a clarifying shampoo every other time you wash your hair, to keep it from being heavy.Has anyone tried doo grow products and if so how do they compare to other perms/shampoo and conditioners?
Doo Grow stinks n u see no results. It sucks Report Abuse
Has anyone tried doo grow products and if so how do they compare to other perms/shampoo and conditioners?
I have tried them and I honestly did not see any results in my hair. I tried the leave in conditoner and the mega thick cream and it's just so messy and doesn't smell that great.
I tried Mane 'N Tail haircare products, but also you must message your scalp to stimulate the blood to circulate to the hair follicles. That will help in promoting hair growth.

What are good shampoos/conditioners and products for curly hair?

So i usually am never happy with my hair when i scrunch it. Are there any good shampoos or conditioners along with curling productsto make my scrunched hair more successful? Help! What are good shampoos/conditioners and products for curly hair?
I have curly hair naturally. For shampoo or conditioner I use herbal Essence. Also, when I rinse out my conditioner I use cold water. It's healthy for your hair.It will also make it look better. I also use tresEMME healthy curls mousse, it's healthy for your hair. I hope this helped.

(:What are good shampoos/conditioners and products for curly hair?
i use curly sexy hair shampoo and garnier sleek and shine deep conditioner. if you want to scrunch it, i suggest using garnier curl control mousse to help control frizz and poof, then garnier curl scrunch gel and just scrunch it. then, i use biosilk silk therapy for shine, then brush my baby hairs forward and gel them flat.
    PANTENE. HYDRATING CURLS. !

    best shampoo ever.

also find a good mousse. only use a little gel, beacause if you use too much it looks gross %26amp; crunchy. i suggest garnei fructis curl construct.

7 use a good light hairspray.

    remember keep it natural.

%26amp; if you want really curly hair. in the shower try combing it before conditioner, then when you get out bend your head over %26amp; with a towel kinda ruffel it. then apply a product, %26amp; a generous amount of mousse !. works well
I use Matrix curl life mousse. It's on the expensive side (15 dollars), but I love it! (: I could never get my curls to last all day or be frizz free, but now they are. This is what I do:

-I scrunch my hair in the shower while I'm shampooing and conditioning my hair.

-When I get out of the shower I use an old T-shirt to dry off my hair. (towels create frizz).

-When my hair is damp (not wet) I scrunch the mousse into my hair.

-After that I use a diffuser to dry my hair (or let it air dry)

Voila! That's it. Good luck! (:
I use redken fresh curls shampoo. i don't have the whole line but the shampoo works amazing! It keeps my waves in tact but gets rid of the frizzies! it makes you look awesome! try some of their products- they are expensive but they're worth it.
I used Tresme curl definer 9 se and it gives my hair volume and makes it really curly, also panten pro v curl action which makes your hair less frizzy and more curly!
I think u shuld use Pantene Curls shampoo and conditioner it make ur curls really nice and big but without frizz and craziness so go get it!!! :D
for curly id use the herbal essence tousle me softly collection

    Which shampoo/conditioners smell the best?

and do good to your hair!Which shampoo/conditioners smell the best?
You have to try Nexxus Color Ensure and Color Assure shampoo and conditioner. They smell so great and I can still smell it at the end of the day. It has almost a citrus smell to it. They are also made to replenish your hair, so your hair will be super healthy.Which shampoo/conditioners smell the best?

    Biolage

    Finesse

    SamyPure

    Aussie

    Philosophy

i also have been using Herbal Essences... i have also found that the smell doesnt stay, so i would suggest, maybe brushing your hair with a bit of perfume or sent sprayed on the brush or comb...
when I was young, I used to put perfume in my hair brush and brush it through my hair

I've used Suave for years and years
Sea Ocean Breeze Suave. I love it!
    gardenia frutice (sp?)

or dove!! dove last a long time

    and it smells really nice!

How ot take care of our hair , what precautions to be taken and which shampoo to use with which conditioner ?

hope i get answers by which my hair can get some improvements .How ot take care of our hair , what precautions to be taken and which shampoo to use with which conditioner ?
One of the best things you can do for your hair is make sure you have a healthy diet, eat fresh fruit and veg, and cut down on junk food, crisps, fizzy drinks etc, as these types of things affect everything, the way you look, health, etc.

Start taking multivitamins, again this will help all round.

If you want your hair very straight, try John Frieda's Frizz Ease serum - this stuff is amazing! You put a few drops on your hair when wet, then blow dry/style/straighten as usual, but it makes your hair poker straight. Just don't put it on your roots as it can make them look greasy, just apply it to the tips.

You can also get serum which seals split ends. You can get this at places like Boots, or hair salons, depending on how much you want to spend. One I use is by Avon:

    http://avonshop.co.uk/avonshop/default.a...

';Put an end to split ends. Glossy formula instantly smoothes, nourishes and hydrates dry, damaged ends. Contains sunscreen for added protection.';, only 拢4.50.

It sound slike you have quite similar hair to mine - I also straighten but when I am feeling lazy I use a sea salt spray on my hair - I blow dry my fringe straighht but leave the rest wet and spray the sea salt srpay on, it creates loose, chunky waves, like beach hair. Add a little serum too, for shine.

If you can't seem to get shiny hair naturally, buy a shine spray (John Frieda do a really good one for about 拢3) and buy a shampoo that creates shiny hair, Herbal Essences are the best I find, as they create high shine and make your hair feel really, really soft!

Good luck!!How ot take care of our hair , what precautions to be taken and which shampoo to use with which conditioner ?
Maybe start with using shampoo that does not contain sulfates which are bad for you and your hair. Avoid conditioners like Pantene and others that make your hair feel great immediately, but start to degrade it due to the silicones present. There are brands out there that respect these guidelines as well as homemade versions. Do a bit of internet research, looking out for sulfate and silicone free products.
well first of all, all heat %26amp;%26amp; dye is bad for your hair. the best shampoo and conditioner is main and tail. horse's hair is naturally rougher than our's, so their conditioner does more moisturizing than human shampoo. when you have split ends, the best thing to fix them is vitamin e. if you buy the gel capsuls and break them directly onto the split ends, it'll help them immediately. deep conditioning atleast once a week also helps a whole lot.
    mud is the best conditioner

    along with bird crap!!
wash ur hair once in every 3 days. oil ur hair atleast twice in a week. instead of conditioners use a mixture of one mug of water %26amp; half a lemon[nimbu]. apply this mix after u have shampooed ur hair %26amp; rinsed properly. once in two weeks apply a mixture of 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon of oil (preferably almond oil). keep it on ur hair for 20 mins %26amp; then wash off with a shampoo. once in a month, apply yoghurt to ur hair, keep it on for 20 minutes %26amp; wash off.

have u heard about the hot water towel?after oiling ur hair, cover ur hair with a towel dipped in hot water. remove the towel after 20 minutes.

also consume a balanced diet, drink lots of water, sleep for atleast 8 hours a day, exercise daily for about half an hour everyday.

sunsilk shampoo(yellow coloured one) followed by fructis conditioner.

What shampoos and conditioner can i use ?

im streaking my hair blonde and i had an answer saying that you can use certain ones for streaking blonde in hairWhat shampoos and conditioner can i use ?
Go to a beauty supply and ask for purple shampoo. It's good for keeping the blond, blond and for keeping it from turning drab. What shampoos and conditioner can i use ?
depending on the condition of your hair, how much you're willing to spend, and whether you're a golden blonde or a white blonde.

If you're willing to spend on Salon products the k pak range from joico or the blonde glam range from redken are amazing. they keeps your hair in good condition and keeps you're blonde clean.

If you want to buy from a chemist then try dove for lighteners or the new elvive range for highlights.

    Hope this helps x
Goto Sallys and ask them if they will help you look at color shampoo and conditioner or goto Sallybeauty.com You can look under Hair select shampoo then when the screen comes up click Color-Protecting Shampoos and that will bring up the ones for colored hair that you can use.. And then the samething with conditioners..

    Good Luck
I love Redken All Soft Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. I think that Redken has one for blond hair. It may be pricey but you really don't need to use a whole lot so you'd be suprised how long it lasts!

Suggestions on store brand shampoo & conditioners?

OK, I know that a lot of store brand shampoos %26amp; conditioners contain wax; unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of spending $20+ on one bottle of shampoo and conditioner. I have extremely dry hair that I notice breaks easy. I no longer heat style my hair, just let it air dry. Have any suggestions?Suggestions on store brand shampoo %26amp; conditioners?
for dry hair i would definately suggest herbal essances -rose hips. its for dry/ damaged/ colored/ permed hair. and make sure you get the conditioner to go with it. it makes your hair extremely soft. and each bottle is only like 2-3 dollars a pieceSuggestions on store brand shampoo %26amp; conditioners?
do you color you hair? that's a biggie. dont use garnie cuz it will dry out your hair even more and dont use suaveif you color your hair it will strip it . i use pantene or treseme if you dont color your hair use dove, lorel vive, or paul mitchelle in bulk. i have very thin brittle hair too. try a messy razor hair style and conditioner every day. dont use gel only hair spray.
The one I use is Dove, it comes in a dark blue bottle, Dove Therapy I believe is what it is called. I also use VO5 protection spray (not sure if that is the name) but you spray on your hair before styling, especially before blowdrying and straightening.

    Works wonders for me.
MANE %26amp; TAIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITION WORKS GREAT

    PANTEEN IS EXCELLENT

    NEUTRAGENA IS GREAT ALSO

ALSO INFUSIM LEAVE IN CONDITIONER AND SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER.
My favorite is John Freida. Because I'm blonde, I use Sheer Blonde, but he also makes a Brilliant Brunette shampoo that would be great on darker hair. This brand always makes my hair silky and yummy-smelling!
    i use garnier
Dove Shampoo's. They really add mositure back into your hair and restore it, believe me I know I straighten my hair ALL the time and highlight it quite a bit, you would think it be brittle, but Dove helps keep my hair healthy and shiny. Try it, after the 1st wash you can tell a differnce, but don't forget the conditioner, it helps and makes it easier for you to brush out your wet hair.
I know people think that salon products are very expensive but they are not! I would recommend Joico products. If you go to the right salon you can get a liter of shampoo or conditioner for $10-$15.

How often can you wash your hair after rebonding? Is it necessary to use a conditioner each time you shampoo?

After rebonding, I wash my hair once in 2 days, so that i won't strip the hair of moisture. It's necessary to use a conditioner, as rebonding dries your hair. Also, it's best not to use hot water to wash your hair. as far as possible, use cold water, as it helps to keep the moisture in the hair. Our hair needs all the help it can get, to look silky and straight :)How often can you wash your hair after rebonding? Is it necessary to use a conditioner each time you shampoo?
    hey

i got my hair rebonded last december...

after getting ur hair rebonded, u can wet it for the first time after 3 days. However, from my experience, shampooing is not recommended for the first month. After the first 30 days, u can shampoo it as often as u want Also, its better (though not neccessary) to use a shampoo specially formulated for rebonded/chemically treated hair. Using a conditioner each time is not neccessary but it is better to use it coz ur hair tends to be dry. Hope i could answer ur question well! How often can you wash your hair after rebonding? Is it necessary to use a conditioner each time you shampoo?
atleast once a day...but for best results and not frizzy texture you may shampoo ur hair every other day and condition it everyday

Im out of shampoo, can i just use conditioner?

i cant go to the store cuz i have no liscence and you have to drive and i want to wash my hair now while im in the mood...but i have lots of conditioner...cant i just use that?Im out of shampoo, can i just use conditioner?
Use body wash or dish soap.

If not, your hair will be greasy looking.

    Thanks for the thumbs down!!!

I actually know what I'm talking about, %26amp; I get thumbs down?Im out of shampoo, can i just use conditioner?
Don't do it, it will make your hair greesey. I would just go without washing it today. It will be better than using just conditioner. Just take a ';whore bath'; (just wash your lady parts and your arm pits...lol) and you should be good to go!
    it'll make your hair greeesy.

you need shampoo before you need conditioner.
You hair will look dirtier. You need to wait until you get some shampoo. Thats weird that you have to be in the mood to wash your hair
shure for now you can it should work alone but get shampoo soon you cant survive on conditioner forever!
um i don't think its the best idea because you are supposed to use shampoo and conditioner is optional.

it would probably make your hair oily
    here use mine.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/11994036@N0…
You should keep all the shampoo samples that you sometimes find in magazines for times of emergency - thats what I do.
Not really it doesnt wash your hair for real conditionar is just something witch takes knots out of hair.
you only wash your hair when your in the mood to...?

i guess that could word, but it doesn't really clean your hair, just conditions it..
its actually healthier to shampoo every other day but condition every day. so yeah! =)
Sure you can just not too much or your hair will look too greasy.
you can but it won't clean your hair! it will only condition it!

your best bet is to use normal soap
if im out of shampoo i use bodywash..it works the exact same..all that shampoo does is cleans ur hair and makes ur hair smell goos...and thats exactly what body wash does...so just use that
use soap; don't use the conditioner until you get some shampoo.
No. Conditioner near your scalp will make your hair super greasy.

I would use soap or something if I were you =\
Sure....it may make your hair more greasy though...or it may not.

    I DON';T KNOW OKAY!

*rocks back and forth* Too many questions!
Go ahead but I wouldn't do it for too many days in a row. Make sure you get some shampoo ~ quick.
    I sometimes do.
it won't clean your hair will make it smooth and smell good but will not clean it
No, don't do that, it makes your hair greasy.
    I use every time.
    Ya go ahead.
    bacon grease.
    yea

i do when that happens to me

    just scrub it lol
    umm sure.
yes ur hair will just be super duper soft.
    why not?
conditioner won't clean ur hair,it's job is to moisturize.call someone in ur fam,2 buy one.:)
um....ewww!! But sure i guess.... just use a lot maybe u can use soap?

Shampoo Question: If you use Tresemme Curl Shampoo and use a different conditioner will there be no effect?

I use Tresemme Curl shampoo but use Pantene moisturizing conditioner. I'm afraid that when I use the conditioner it washes away the curl-benefiting effects of the Curl shampoo. Then if it does, that would be a total waste of money!

    Please answer!

:) Thanks!Shampoo Question: If you use Tresemme Curl Shampoo and use a different conditioner will there be no effect?
The moisturizing conditioner will weigh down your hair so it it will effect the curling shampoo.Shampoo Question: If you use Tresemme Curl Shampoo and use a different conditioner will there be no effect?
It will still condition your hair and it will add a slight wave to it but it will not turn out as good as it would if you used the curly conditioner

PS. it really doesn't make it that curly

I need a moisturizing shampoos&Conditioner, Along with a deep conditioning mask...?

    Any reccomondations?

I reguarly straighten my hair on weekdays for school -Which, I know is bad- Im looking for products that are good at moisturising hair and prevent it from becoming dry/damaged and getting it back to normal health, along with making it shine, As i will use these on the weekends.

Thanks xI need a moisturizing shampoos%26amp;Conditioner, Along with a deep conditioning mask...?
Thermasilk shampoos and conditioners help prevent heat damage. Also, Garnier Fructis has a hair product called ';moisture milk'; which you apply while hair is wet. It sooths out damaged hair.I need a moisturizing shampoos%26amp;Conditioner, Along with a deep conditioning mask...?
Tressemee has a good moisturizing shampoo, and conditioner, they also have a deep[ conditioning mask,.Try either Paul Mitchell, Nexxas,Biolage,Sebastian, would be your best bet. They all have different moisturizing shampoos, and conditioners, as well as a deep conditioning mask.

    Hi Meg,

I love Biolage.....it's not cheap, but it lasts a long time. If you can just buy some, don't worry about being a shampoo hog and hiding it from your roomie/family.

My stylist says the cheap stuff is crap.
I really like head and shoulders...i don't know how it would work for color treated hair though, but I'm sure that they have a type for it.
CREAM OF NATURE WORKED GREAT FOR ME. YOU CAN ONLY BUY IT FROM HAIR STORES. ITS USED IN SALONS AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE
suave and lorealand pantene are made mostly of wax causing hair to shed....at walmart there is a brand of shampoo and conditioner called.....Nexus..7.00 for each bottle but works like a charm...also sunsilk
The suave color shampoos are actually not that bad, but they might leave your hair a little tangled. Tresemme is a little more expensive but great and worth it. Deep condition at least once a week, and definitely do not wash your hair more often than every other day.

Why we always need a conditioner after shampooing hair?

because scientifically shampooing your hair opens the cuticle of the hair, and conditioner is needed to seal the cuticle of the hair

and the conditioner also provides nutrients and moisture to the hair that the shampooing eliminatesWhy we always need a conditioner after shampooing hair?
your scalp creates natural oils. When shampooing, it strips those natural oils. Those oils are exactly what helps smooth the cuticle of your hair and makes it smooth and shiny. Conditioner simply helps smooth that cuticle down, by using different oils, vitamins, and wax. It also helps put moisture back into the strands to reduce breakageWhy we always need a conditioner after shampooing hair?
Think of it this way. You go running on a hot summer day, and obviously your gonna sweat. Just like your body loses fluid, your hair loses key things that it needs to stay healthy when you shampoo it. Would you drink water to replenish your body after a long run? Absolutely. And that's why you replenish your hair.
you got the scientific answer above now you get this logical answer.

Bcoz manufacturer want you to use it that way, thats why. If they wanted you to use it before they would have washed your brain that way to believe.
You don't. Its that simple. Just wash and rinse. You shouldn't need conditioner.
Try just shampooing your hair and not conditioning it.

    You'll see for yourself.

Tresemme Vitamin E shampoo for dry, rich or damaged hair.
    hello!

i actually have been having the same problem

i am constantly dying my hair, which results in severe damage and dryness of my hair.

    however, there is hope!! :]]

i just recently purchased some dove conditioner and shampoo that is specifically intended for hair like ours!!

it's called Dove Moisturising...it's in a white bottle with a blue top...it's sorta weird shaped too

    hope it helps!
    Loreal,Elvive,tresseme...
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate-free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing. You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

Same problem and tried and tested all to huge expense but best I have found it frizz ease by john Frieda collection the conditioner is fantastic leaves your hair soft and shiney cost around 拢5. There is a huge range from surums, conditioners, deep heat conditioners, shampoo's good luck I use them all the time.
Kiehls make some excellent products for dry hair. Their olive fruit and lemon range is particularly good. They are a bit expensive but a good investment. However if you go to a Kiehls stockist (Harvey Nichols, Space NK for example) you can often get some good sized samples which give you a chance to check them out before buying.
try the aveda damage remedy range its lovely!makes my seriously over processed, dry hair beautifully soft and shiny!x
use dove therapy products i use them and it totally works even though its kinda alot of money but it worth it (it like $6 a bottle) well at least it alot for shampoo and conditioner
ok I use Tresemme moisture rich for dry/damage hair and then there sunsilk pink gor dery.damage hair and then i want to get redkens smooth down shmapoo and all soft conditioner
try bio silk leave in treatment. works great it takes only a small amount. also try a solan deep conditioning about once every two weeks and a trim once a month.
kerastase bain 3is very good and the masks are great too.

redken all soft are supposed to be very good also but ive never tried them
Hi I have used loads of these and some work better than others.

First of all I would start with a good shampoo and conditoner, Pantene Ice Shine in both is the best, and gets hair into shape fast, its for dry tired and damage hair and works a treat the more you use it the better conditon your hair will become.

Now back onto treatments and weekly conditioners.

The best one I have tried is Tresemme deep nourishing hair mask for extra dry damaged weak and brittle hair, its in a large pot and helps protect from all elements and and even heat damage, you leave it on for 5mins. Its ok but I wouldnt recommend it if you have a senisive scalp like I have as it irritates it a bit, but you dont nesscary have to use it on the scalp as it then ends that are the main problem and the lengths of the hair.

Aussie 3min Miracle isnt that good, I find that the Aussie Miracle moist you get to complement the shampoo is ten times better.

There is also Frizz Ease Miracoulous Recovery Hair Mask, this is good, for split ends doesnt do much for the lengths though and cost loads for just a little pot that doesnt last more than 2 washes, thats if you hair is thick like mine.

So all in all Tremme is the best for around 拢4 and it last ages as the tub is massive.

You can try hot oils, but I think all these do it make my hair far to fluffy and it doesnt even feel soft after the treatement.

I would also recommend using a leave in conditioner and a heat protection spray and a hair serum, the best leave in condtioner is from Boots its a coconut and Alomond one 拢1.49, any heat protection spray off your chioce, at the moment Im using, pantene ice shine heat protecting spray but any of you choice really, except tresemme this time its not that good, Avons heat protection spray is good but if its not on offer its expesive and is in a little bottle so it doesnt last long. and for hair serum I use the same Avon Dry ends serum its 拢4.50 but there is a better one for only 拢1.99 in savers or bodycare, called supersoft by swartzscoff, its brilliant, but ruub it into you hands first before applying to your hair and use a little bit at a time with any hair serum you get as if you just plonk it on it looks greasy and you dont want that,

After you have applied all the above run over your hair with the hair straightners and then you should have lovely shiny smooth locks.

tresemme has a conditioner and shampoo for color treated hair too though. so you can use that

tresemme is very moisturizing and would really benefit you hair!

hope this helpps(:Comments please on a inexpensive shampoo for colored treated hair. Also a good conditioner? My hair is dry!?

    Dove Shampoo

    is really good!

    I use it and I

    have frizzy,

    unruly hair

    you should

    try it! It is

    In-expensive

    and really works!

    Hope

    I

    Helped!

Tresemme Vitamin E shampoo for dry, rich or damaged hair.
    hello!

i actually have been having the same problem

i just recently purchased some dove conditioner and shampoo that is specifically intended for hair like ours!!

it's called Dove Moisturising...it's in a white bottle with a blue top...it's sorta weird shaped too

    hope it helps!
    Loreal,Elvive,tresseme...

Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing. You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best!
