It'll be kinda hard for conditioner to do it's job if it can't get into the hair because there's oils and debris in the way. And yes, they are pretty much the same.Can soak my hair and put leave in conditioner without shampooing hair?
sure you can't just make sure you don't forget to rinise out the conditioner.

I wouldnt soak your hair, But you can put leave in without shapoo...Actually, Leave in goes in AFTER you get out of the shower, when your hair is a little dap.
